Manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that he fully expects Freeman (ankle) to be in the lineup for Game 1 of the NLDS, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

It's not quite a lock that Freeman will be ready, since the skipper is discussing contingency plans that would involve Enrique Hernandez starting at the hot corner and Max Muncy shifting to first base. Freeman exited Thursday's game with an ankle injury and was seen on crutches and in a walking boot as the Dodgers looked to keep the swelling down.

Swanson is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Luis Vazquez will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Sunday's regular-season finale. Unless he comes in to pinch hit, Swanson will finish the 2024 regular season with a slash line of .242/.312/.390, 19 stolen bases, 16 home runs and 66 RBI across 593 plate appearances.

Hays (back) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Hays will sit for the regular-season finale as he continues to battle back soreness, but he could be available off the bench for Sunday's contest. Kody Clemens will start in left field and bat seventh.

Ramos, who is not in Sunday's lineup against the Cardinals, has a tight hamstring and has been playing through plantar fasciitis, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Manager Bob Melvin said that Ramos could hit Sunday or start at designated hitter, but with nothing to play for, he'll likely get the finale off. Ramos had a breakout age-24 season, slashing .269/.322/.469 with 22 home runs and six steals in 518 plate appearances.

Realmuto is absent from Sunday's lineup against the Nationals.

Realmuto will rest for the Phillies' regular-season finale as Garrett Stubbs starts behind home plate and bats ninth. Barring a pinch-hit appearance, Realmuto will end the regular season with a slash line of .266/.322/.429, 14 home runs and 47 RBI across 413 plate appearances.

Harper is absent from Sunday's lineup against Washington.

Harper will begin Sunday's contest in the dugout as Alec Bohm starts at first base and bats fifth. Unless Harper pinch hits, he'll end the regular season with a slash line of .285/.373/.525, seven stolen bases, 30 home runs and 87 RBI across 631 plate appearances.

Pederson is absent from Sunday's lineup against San Diego.

The lefty-hitting Pederson will begin Sunday's contest in the dugout with the Padres sending southpaw Martin Perez to the mound. Barring a pinch hit appearance, Pederson will finish his first regular season with Arizona having slashed .275/.393/.515 with 23 home runs and 64 RBI across 444 plate appearances. Randal Grichuk will serve as the designated hitter and bat fifth.

Roupp was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.

With Roupp unavailable after starting Friday and the Giants' bullpen lacking fresh options, Trevor McDonald was summoned to take the roster spot. Roupp has legitimate starter stuff, led by an elite curveball, but he has never logged 110 innings in a season and is already 26.

Winker is absent from Sunday's lineup against the Brewers.

Winker will be out of the Mets' lineup for a second straight game. J.D. Martinez will serve as the designated hitter and bat sixth.

D'Arnaud is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.

D'Arnaud will get a breather Sunday after hitting a walk-off solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over Kansas City. Sean Murphy will start behind home plate and bat seventh.
