McLean (6-5) earned the win Sunday over Atlanta, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

It looked like it was going to be a short outing for McLean after the right-hander gave up three runs in the first inning. However, he beared down and blanked Atlanta over his final five frames, allowing just two more hits en route to his second straight win. McLean has held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in six of his last seven outings, posting a 2.70 ERA in that span. Overall, his ERA sits at 3.73 through 18 starts (101.1 innings) this season with a 1.12 WHIP and 118:37 K:BB. McLean is currently in line for a home matchup with the Red Sox his next time out.

The Rockies optioned Sullivan to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Colorado summoned Sullivan from Triple-A on Saturday to make a spot start in place of Tomoyuki Sugano, who was unable to recover from his back spasms as quickly as anticipated and was placed on the injured list. Sullivan dropped to 0-3 in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Giants, serving up six earned runs on 12 hits and two walks over 5.2 innings. He'll now head back to Triple-A and give up his spot on the active roster to right-hander TJ Shook, who was recalled from Albuquerque to provide the Rockies with extra coverage in the bullpen heading into Sunday's series finale.

The Brewers recalled Rom from Triple-A Nashville on Sunday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The left-hander was optioned to Nashville on June 22 but is back in the majors since Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) is headed to the injured list. Rom gave up just two earned runs and struck out 10 across his 5.1 frames with the Brewers, though he also allowed six hits and four walks.

Taylor is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Taylor is batting .208 (5-for-24) with just one extra-base hit in his past eight contests, and he finds himself on the bench Sunday for the third consecutive game. The Padres have rolled with a starting outfield of Gavin Sheets, Jackson Merrill and Fernando Tatis from left to right in all three contests.

The Rockies recalled Shook from Triple-A Albuquerque prior to Sunday's game against the Giants.

Colorado optioned left-hander Sean Sullivan to Triple-A to open up a spot on the active roster and in the bullpen for Shook. The 28-year-old right-hander was previously up with the Rockies for a week in early June, making three appearances while allowing two earned runs on four hits and no walks across 3.2 innings.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Phillips (elbow) will be reinstated from the 60-day injured list ahead of Monday's series opener against the Rockies, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

After completing a month-long rehab assignment, Phillips is considered fully recovered from the Tommy John surgery that he underwent last June. Across 12 appearances at Triple-A Oklahoma City, Phillips turned in a 1.80 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 13:5 K:BB in 10 innings. The 31-year-old right-hander could be eased back into the action with the Dodgers in a low-leverage role, but he could move up the bullpen pecking order quickly if his velocity and command return to their pre-surgery levels.

Reynolds went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Sunday's 11-5 win over the Nationals.

Reynolds extended Pittsburgh's lead to 4-0 in the third inning with a 399-foot shot off Cade Cavalli, his 13th homer this season and his seventh in his last 25 games -- he's gone 33-for-101 (.327) in that span. It's been a strong season at the plate overall for Reynolds, who's now slashing .282/.393/.474 with 56 RBI, 62 runs scored and six stolen bases across 397 plate appearances.

Muncy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Muncy is working against left-handed pitching more often this season and is excelling to the tune of a .939 OPS in 72 plate appearances, but he finds himself on the bench Sunday while southpaw JP Sears takes the mound for San Diego. Miguel Rojas is starting at the hot corner for the Dodgers in the series finale.

Garcia went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and a stolen base in Sunday's 11-5 loss to the Pirates.

Garcia got Washington on the board in the third inning with his two-run blast off Bubba Chandler, his 19th homer this season (a new career high) and his 10th in his last 15 games. In his last 20 contests, Garcia has gone 24-for-68 (.353) with a staggering 1.271 OPS, boosting his slash line to .282/.313/.561 with 64 RBI, 42 runs scored and three steals across 294 plate appearances this season.

Rushing is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against San Diego.

Rushing started the previous three contests and will rest Sunday after going 5-for-9 with a double, a homer, four RBI and four runs during that span. Eliezer Alfonzo is making his MLB debut behind the plate in the series finale for the Dodgers.
