The Dodgers activated Gonsolin (back) from the 15-day injured list Wednesday.

Gonsolin will start Wednesday against the Marlins in his season debut with the Dodgers. The right-hander began the season on the IL with a back injury but is ready to roll after collecting a 3.21 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB over 14 innings covering four rehab outings. Gonsolin went five frames and threw 79 pitches in his last start, so he should be capable of throwing around 90 pitches Wednesday.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that Glasnow (shoulder) will be shut down 10-to-14 days before being re-evaluated, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.

Glasnow was placed on the 15-day injured list Monday with right shoulder inflammation and will not do any throwing for a while. Given the length of the shutdown period, it's difficult to imagine the right-hander will be able to return before June even in a best-case scenario.

Betts went 2-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 15-2 rout of the Marlins.

Betts got in on the Dodgers' offensive outburst, slapping a two-run single in the third inning and adding another single before coming around to score in the sixth. The outfielder-turned-shortstop began the second half of April with a 4-for-35 stretch at the plate, but his bat has begun to warm up of late. Over his past three contests, Betts has gone 4-for-13 with four RBI and just one strikeout, though he doesn't have an extra-base hit during that stretch.

Verdugo is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Colorado.

Verdugo will get a routine day off for the matinee game after starting in each of the previous five contests. Atlanta will go with Eli White and Eddie Rosario as its corner outfielders in Wednesday's series finale.

Murphy is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Colorado.

After catching each of the first two games of the series, Murphy will begin Wednesday's finale on the bench. Drake Baldwin is behind the dish and batting seventh as Atlanta goes for the sweep.

Martini is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

With southpaw Chris Sale on the mound for the series finale, the left-handed-hitting Martini will retreat to the bench. Martini owns a weak .599 OPS over 65 plate appearances on the season, and his lack of production has resulted in him falling into a part-time role of late, even against right-handed pitching.

Farmer is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Atlanta.

Though the Rockies remain without Ezequiel Tovar (hip), Thairo Estrada (wrist), Aaron Schunk (groin) and Tyler Freeman (oblique) in the middle infield, Farmer no longer looks to be in the mix for regular playing time at second base or shortstop. He'll be on the bench for the fourth time in seven games, with the Rockies prioritizing Adael Amador ahead of him at the keystone and Alan Trejo at shortstop.

Smith is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Marlins, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Smith caught both of the first two games of the series, so he'll get a breather in Wednesday's finale. Austin Barnes will start behind the plate and bat ninth Wednesday as the Dodgers try to complete the sweep.

Edman is absent from the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Marlins, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Edman is out of the lineup for the second time in three days, though he came off the bench to deliver a game-winning, two-RBI single in the 10th inning of Monday's victory before adding three more RBI on Tuesday. Enrique Hernandez will start at second base and bat seventh for the Dodgers in Wednesday's series finale.

Moniak is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus Atlanta.

It's southpaw Chris Sale on the bump for Atlanta, so the left-handed-hitting Moniak will begin the contest on the bench. Sean Bouchard is getting the call in right field for the Rockies.
