Williams (2-3) earned the win over Cincinnati on Saturday, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out four batters over 5.1 innings.

Williams appeared like he might be in for a short outing after giving up two runs in the first inning and another in the second, but he settled in from there and didn't allow another run to cross the plate until Jake Fraley hit a solo homer against him in the sixth. Meanwhile, the Nationals' offense was firing on all cylinders, helping Williams to his first victory since April 6 -- his second start of the campaign. Williams has yet to complete six innings this season, but he's gone at least five frames in all but one of his seven starts. He'll carry a shaky 5.86 ERA into his next outing, which is tentatively scheduled to come against the Cardinals next weekend.

Pfaadt (5-2) took the loss against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing seven runs (six earned) on nine hits and one walk while striking out six over 4.2 innings.

Pfaadt had given up four earned runs over his last four outings heading into Saturday, and he got off to a nice start with three strikeouts in the first inning. It was downhill from there for the 26-year-old right-hander, who yielded home runs to Max Kepler and J.T. Realmuto in the second and third innings, respectively, before being tagged for a seventh run in the fourth. Pfaadt's performance rose his ERA and WHIP to 3.79 and 1.24, respectively, over 40.1 innings, and his 43 hits allowed is fifth-most among qualified starters in the National League. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, which is tentatively slated for next week at home against the Dodgers.

Gurriel went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Phillies.

Gurriel supplied the Diamondbacks their only two runs of Saturday's loss on a two-run homer off Carlos Hernandez in the seventh inning. Gurriel has logged multiple hits in three of his last four games, and over that span he has gone 8-for-14 with three runs scored, one home run and three RBI.

Kepler went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over Arizona.

Kepler put the Phillies on the board in the second inning, when he took Brandon Pfaadt deep to right-center field for a two-run home run. Kepler hit just one homer over his first 23 games this season, but he has smacked four long shots over his last seven games and has gone 8-for-25 (.320) with eight runs scored and six RBI over that span.

Realmuto went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Realmuto extended the Phillies' lead to six runs in the third inning, when he took Brandon Pfaadt deep to left-center field for a three-run home run. It was Realmuto's third homer of the season (two of which have come over his last three starts), and the veteran catcher has seven multi-hit games in 2025. He has gone 8-for-27 (.296) with five runs scored and four RBI over his last seven games.

Nola (1-5) earned the win against the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing four hits and one walk while striking out eight over six scoreless innings.

Per Lochlahn March of The Philadelphia Inquirer, Nola was in danger of being scratched from Saturday's start after he felt his neck lock up, which led the Phillies to reinstate Ranger Suarez from the 15-day injured list as an emergency option. Nola relayed after the game that the tightness was limited to the right side of his neck, and it didn't appear to bother him all that much as he tossed 109 pitches (69 strikes) over six scoreless frames while generating 12 whiffs and eight groundouts. How Nola's neck responds following Saturday's outing will determine his availability for his next scheduled start against the Guardians next weekend, but the strong performance is an indication the issue isn't a serious concern.

Tatis went 1-for-4 with a steal and a run scored in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Pirates.

Tatis was removed from Friday's game after being hit by a pitch on his left forearm, but he was cleared to play Saturday and was instrumental in the Padres' win. He opened the ninth inning with a double, and after stealing third base, he came home for the go-ahead run on a wild pitch from David Bednar. Tatis has started the season strongly, and his batting average (.342) and OPS (1.012) are both second best in the National League behind Pete Alonso (.345 and 1.137, respectively).

Vasquez didn't factor into the decision against the Pirates on Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and five walks while striking out three over five innings.

It wasn't exactly smooth sailing for Vasquez, who allowed at least two baserunners in four of his five innings pitched, but he limited the damage to an RBI single from Oneil Cruz in the second frame. Vasquez has yielded one earned run or less in four of his seven starts this season, but he's also issued a league-leading 24 walks over 32.1 innings. He's lined up to face the Rockies on the road next weekend.

Suarez earned the save in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Pirates, issuing one walk in a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a hit or recording a strikeout.

Suarez was brought in for the bottom of the ninth inning after Fernando Tatis scored the go-ahead run for the Padres in the top half of the frame. Suarez issued a four-pitch walk after a groundout, but he proceeded to get out of the inning on a lineout double play. Suarez leads the majors with 13 saves on as many opportunities while posting a 0.60 ERA, 0.60 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB across 15 innings.

Machado went 1-for-3 with one walk and a solo home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Pirates.

Machado tied things up at 1-1 in the seventh inning, when he took Bailey Falter deep to left field for a 391-foot solo homer. Machado has recorded at least 28 home runs in each of his last four seasons, but he has only three homers through 131 plate appearances this season. He is slashing .280/.344/.441 with six stolen bases, 20 runs scored and 14 RBI.
