Henriquez earned the save in Sunday's 3-0 win against the Angels, striking out two in a clean inning.

The 24-year-old right-hander required only 10 pitches to secure the first save of his career. After picking up the win in Saturday's contest against the Angels, Henriquez looks to have entered the picture for high-leverage work at the back of the Miami bullpen along with Anthony Bender, Calvin Faucher and Jesus Tinoco. Henriquez has pitched to a 1.78 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 35:13 K:BB across 25.1 innings this season.

Giants manager Bob Melvin said Verlander (pectoral) is on track to throw a bullpen session Tuesday, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Verlander landed on the injured list Thursday after being diagnosed with a right pectoral strain, but he appears to have a chance at returning to action once the minimum 15 days are up. Melvin confirmed that Verlander resumed playing catch Saturday, and with the right-hander responding well to the workout, he's already been cleared to advance to the next phase of his recovery program. Verlander will likely complete one or two bullpen sessions before getting the green light to face hitters.

Cabrera (1-1) earned the win Sunday against the Angels, allowing three hits and two walks over 5.2 scoreless innings. He struck out 10.

The 27-year-old generated 18 whiffs en route to a season-high 10 punchouts, reaching double-digit Ks for the first time since April 15, 2024. Cabrera has been especially sharp over his last four appearances, as he's limited free passes while working to a 2.61 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB across 20.2 innings. Through 40 total innings, the Miami right-hander sports a 4.72 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 43:16 K:BB. Cabrera is currently slated to make his next start against the Giants at home next weekend.

Hays went 2-for-4 with a triple, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-8 loss to the Cubs.

Hays got the Reds on the board with an RBI single in the first inning and later added a two-run triple in the fifth. The 29-year-old has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, collecting five extra-base hits, 10 RBI, five runs scored and a steal. On the season, he's slashing an impressive .324/.368/.583 with six home runs, 24 RBI, 20 runs scored and two stolen bases across 117 plate appearances.

Pomeranz (2-0) tossed a scoreless inning of relief with two strikeouts to earn the win in Sunday's 11-8 victory over the Reds.

Pomeranz made quick work of the Reds in the bottom of the seventh inning, then earned his second win of the season when the Cubs scored four times in the top of the eighth. The veteran righty has been good for Chicago, as he's yet to allow an earned run across 12.1 innings this year, and he's racked up 14 strikeouts as well. Pomeranz also has a save to his name, and he's quickly earning trust as a high-leverage member of the Cubs' bullpen.

Suzuki went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 11-8 win over the Reds.

Suzuki delivered in the clutch with a three-run homer that broke an 8-8 tie in the top of the eighth inning. The 30-year-old has been on a tear over his last 10 games, hitting safely in nine of them while racking up four home runs, 15 RBI and 11 runs scored. He's currently on pace for a career-best season, slashing .273/.330/.576 with 14 long balls, 49 RBI, 33 runs scored and one stolen base across 221 plate appearances.

McGuire went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 11-8 win over the Reds.

McGuire had his contract selected from Triple-A Iowa earlier in the day to replace Miguel Amaya (oblique) on the roster, and the former wasted no time making a splash with his new team. Carson Kelly, who was scratched Sunday due to an illness, will see the bulk of the playing time behind the plate with Amaya out, but McGuire will mix in here and there. The 30-year-old blasted three home runs and posted a .575 OPS in 53 games for the Red Sox last year, and he has a limited fantasy ceiling in 2025.

Burrows is slated to start Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks at Chase Field.

While making his first MLB start this past Thursday against the Brewers, Burrows was dealt a loss after giving up four earned runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. Though his results were disappointing, Burrows will get at least one chance to build some security in the Pittsburgh rotation when he faces the Diamondbacks. Since the beginning of May, Arizona hitters have produced a 121 wRC+ against right-handed pitching, so Burrows will represent a risky streaming option on the road.

Nelson is slated to start Monday's game against the Pirates at Chase Field.

Eduardo Rodriguez (shoulder) has resumed throwing but isn't eligible to return from the 15-day injured list until next weekend, so Nelson will make a second straight turn through the Arizona rotation in his place. In his most recent start this past Tuesday, Nelson took a no-decision despite limiting a tough Dodgers lineup to one run on three hits and one walk. A home matchup with the 19-35 Pirates represents a more favorable spot for Nelson to claim his second win of the season.

Cuas signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Sunday.

Cuas was let go by the Phillies' organization in early May after spending the first month of the year with Triple-A Lehigh Valley. The relief pitcher allowed eight runs on eight hits and five walks while striking out four over 5.1 innings in seven appearances before being let go. Cuas will now look to get back on track with Triple-A Gwinnett.
