Adames went 2-for-4 in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Tigers.

Adames singled twice in the loss, delivering his first multi-hit performance since May 16. The 29-year-old shortstop had gone 0-for-11 over his previous three games, and he has been struggling of late. Adames is now slashing .210/.288/.336 with 30 runs scored, 25 RBI, 16 extra-base hits -- including five homers -- two stolen bases and a 26.3 percent strikeout rate across 240 plate appearances this season.

Encarnacion played six innings and went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a stolen base and a walk in Triple-A Sacramento's 9-5 loss to El Paso on Tuesday.

During his return to Sacramento, Encarnacion cracked a solo shot to right-center field in his first at-bat. The 27-year-old began his rehab assignment with the Giants' affiliate May 10 after fracturing his left hand in mid-March and landing on the 60-day injured list. However, he was shut down due to soreness after only two games before returning to action Tuesday. Encarnacion is likely to rejoin San Francisco in early June and could provide a boost at first base upon his return. Giants manager Bob Melvin noted, "He says he feels a lot better. These things can be pretty significant. It's not uncommon to get a little bit of a setback," according to Maria Guardado of MLB.com.

Kinley (0-2) took the loss after allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and two walks in 1.1 innings during Tuesday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Cubs. He struck out one.

Kinley's struggles on the mound continue, as he now owns an abysmal 10.03 ERA, 2.14 WHIP and 9:11 K:BB over his last 11.2 innings. The 34-year-old right-hander has a lone hold and just one save in two opportunities on the campaign, so he remains well behind Zach Agnos and Seth Halvorsen in Colorado's bullpen hierarchy. The recently returned Victor Vodnik also looms as an option in high-leverage situations.

Happ went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-innings win over Colorado.

It was Happ's first multi-hit game and extra-base hit since coming off the injured list, which is an encouraging sign given his slump since returning from an oblique strain. Over his last seven outings, the veteran outfielder is hitting just .194 (6-for-31) with two RBI, six runs scored, three walks and one stolen base. Fantasy managers should remain patient with Happ, who is still looking to get his timing back at the plate.

Doyle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-innings loss to the Cubs.

It was notably Doyle's first home run of the month, as he snapped a 24-game homerless skid. The outfielder has struggled at the dish to the tune of a .206 batting average, five RBI, five runs scored and two stolen bases over his last 18 outings. Doyle's fantasy upside should also remain limited by Colorado's poor lineup, but he should see a boost in appeal when he gets to work from hitter-friendly Coors Field. He has a .769 OPS at home versus a .458 OPS on the road this year.

Horton didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Rockies after allowing two runs on four hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out six.

Horton set a season high in punchouts as well as innings pitched, also recording his first quality start of the year. Through the first four starts of his major-league career, the rookie right-hander owns a serviceable 3.98 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 16:4 K:BB covering 20.1 frames. Horton has drawn some favorable matchups in the early going, having faced the White Sox, Marlins and Rockies in three of his outings, and he's lined up to see another fairly unimposing assignment against the Nationals in his next scheduled appearance.

Marquez didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Cubs after allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out six.

It was Marquez's first quality start on the road since his first outing of the season, and he also established a season high in punchouts. Tuesday also marked the veteran right-hander's third time throwing at least six innings while giving up two runs or fewer in his last four appearances, during which he has a respectable 3.52 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 14:7 K:BB over 23 frames. Marquez is also set to work away from hitter-friendly Coors Field in his next scheduled start, which lines up for next week against the Marlins.

Pallante did not factor in the decision during Tuesday's win over Baltimore. He allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits and three walks while striking out seven over 5.2 innings.

Pallante worked through three scoreless frames before the Orioles scored an unearned run in the fourth inning. He then served up a three-run shot to Ryan O'Hearn in the fifth. Pallante tied his season high with seven punchouts while generating 12 whiffs on 91 total pitches. He's thrown exactly 5.2 innings in his last two appearances after completing seven frames in each of his previous two starts. Pallante's ERA sits at 4.23 with a lackluster 42:23 K:BB through 61.2 frames. He's lined up for a home start against the Royals next week.

Nootbaar went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, two runs scored and a walk in Tuesday's win against the Orioles.

Nootbaar singled and scored in the first inning before swatting a two-run shot in the second. He snapped out of a brief 1-for-19 (.053) skid since his last multi-hit performance May 19. He also broke a nine-game homerless drought and is up to eight this season, including three in his last 14 appearances. Nootbaar improved his slash line to .249/.354/.411 with 18 extra-base hits and 34 runs scored through 246 plate appearances.

Helsley allowed a hit and struck out two batters over one inning while earning a save against the Orioles on Tuesday.

Helsley worked around a two-out single by Ramon Urias to finish off the 7-4 victory. It was Helsley's seventh straight save conversion, and he's now 11-for-13 on the year. He lowered his ERA to 3.32 with a 21:11 K:BB through 19 frames. Helsley has posted a 3.00 ERA with seven saves in May.
