Burrows (1-3) earned the loss after lasting just 1.1 innings, allowing six runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one during Saturday's 12-4 loss to the Twins.

After posting five shutout innings with six strikeouts his last time out, Burrows had perhaps his worst start as a pro Saturday. The 25-year-old set a couple of career marks that pitchers don't really like to set, allowing a career-high six runs in 1.1 innings, the shortest start of his young career. The right-hander will enter the All-Star break with a 4.83 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 42 strikeouts in 41 innings pitched.

Sheehan (1-0) earned the win over the Giants on Saturday, allowing one run on two hits and three walks while striking out three batters over 4.1 innings.

Shohei Ohtani started on the mound for Los Angeles and tossed three scoreless frames. Sheehan followed and kept San Francisco off the board through the seventh inning, but he allowed two singles and a walk to load the bases with one out in the eighth. Alex Vesia entered in relief and was able to limit the damage to one run, and Sheehan emerged with the win as the Dodgers hung on to end a seven-game losing streak. The right-hander has pitched well through three outings this season, posting a 2.03 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB across 13.1 frames. It's unclear what his role will be moving forward -- per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, manager Dave Roberts wouldn't say Saturday if Sheehan will continue piggybacking with Ohtani following the All-Star break, and the team's rotation could also get Blake Snell (shoulder) back as soon as late July.

Bohm was pulled from Saturday's contest against San Diego due to a bruised left rib, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.

Bohm was plunked by a pitch in the ribs in the second inning but initially remained in the contest, and he even rounded the bases to score in that frame. He had another at-bat in the third but was replaced defensively by Edmundo Sosa in the bottom of the fourth frame. Given that he wasn't yanked immediately, Bohm may not be dealing with a major injury, though the Phillies could opt to hold him out of the lineup Sunday to give him ample time to recover given that it's the final game before the All-Star break.

The Nationals optioned Ogasawara to Triple-A Rochester following Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Making his second start for the Nationals on Saturday, Ogasawara took a no-decision after allowing three earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two over four innings. While he performed better Saturday than he had in his MLB debut, the southpaw won't retain his rotation spot after giving up seven runs over 6.2 frames across his first two MLB starts. It's not yet clear who Washington will turn to as its new fifth starter moving forward, but the team has some time to decide with the All-Star break just around the corner.

Young went 2-for-4 with a stolen base in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Young finished June strong but opened July by going 3-for-30 over his first nine games of the month. He got back on track with a multi-hit effort Saturday and added his 10th steal of the season during the ninth inning. The light-hitting outfielder has just a .589 OPS this season, adding 15 RBI, 22 runs scored and no home runs through 223 plate appearances.

Abrams went 1-for-4 with one RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Abrams reached the 20-steal mark for the third year in a row with his theft in the third inning. He's been more efficient on the basepaths this year, getting caught just twice so far after going 31-for-43 on steals attempts in 2024. The shortstop continues to enjoy a breakout campaign atop the Nationals' lineup, with a .287/.353/.483 slash line, 12 home runs, 33 RBI, 61 runs scored, 20 doubles and four triples across 82 contests. He's hit safely in 10 of 11 games in July, batting .293 (12-for-41) this month.

Lile went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Lile opened the scoring with a second-inning solo shot, his first extra-base hit in six games. The outfielder went 0-for-6 over his previous two games following a 14-game hitting streak in which he batted .327 with three RBI. Lile has found improved consistency of late, but he's still slashing just .231/.282/.352 with two homers, seven RBI, 14 runs scored and two stolen bases across 117 plate appearances. He continues to occupy a strong-side platoon role.

House went 3-for-4 with a pair of home runs and three RBI in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

House failed to hit a homer in his first 21 major-league games before double dipping Saturday. He hit a solo shot in the fourth inning and a go-ahead two-run blast in the eighth. The 22-year-old has hit safely in nine of his last 10 games, going 13-for-42 (.310) in that span. Overall, he's batting .270 with a .691 OPS, two homers, 12 RBI, seven runs scored and two stolen bases across 94 plate appearances to begin his career.

Ohtani allowed one hit and issued one walk while striking out four batters over three scoreless innings in a no-decision against San Francisco on Saturday. He also went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts as a hitter.

For the first time in a Dodgers uniform, Ohtani went deeper than two innings, completing three frames on 36 pitches against the Giants. He threw 25 of those offerings for strikes, including six whiffs, and fanned a season-high four batters while looking entirely at ease on the mound. Ohtani gave up a run in one inning during his 2025 pitching debut versus San Diego on June 16, and since then he's tossed eight scoreless frames while allowing just two hits and posting a 10:2 K:BB over four starts. The Dodgers will almost certainly continue to build him up gradually, so he probably won't be pitching deep enough to qualify for a win for several more starts, but all signs to this point indicate that Ohtani hasn't lost the ability to be an ace after undergoing UCL surgery in September of 2023. Per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Ohtani will next pitch in one of Los Angeles' first five games following the All-Star break, though it's not yet clear if he'll again form a piggyback with Emmet Sheehan, who tossed 4.1 frames following Ohtani on Saturday.

Finnegan (1-3) allowed three runs on three hits and two walks over one-third of an inning, taking the loss and a blown save in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

Finnegan had strung together 8.1 scoreless innings over his last eight appearances, allowing just two walks in that span. It came crashing down quickly Saturday, as he allowed three straight batters to reach base, including a two-run double by Andrew Vaughn that tied the game. Caleb Durbin delivered the final blow with a walk-off single. Finnegan has blown his last three save chances dating back to June 10 -- his recent strong pitching has come in non-save opportunities for the 38-56 Nationals. That poor record as a team suggests there won't be many saves to come by for any member of this bullpen, though Finnegan is on a one-year deal in 2025 and could be moved at the trade deadline. He remains Washington's best bet to see saves for now.
