McCray went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Mets.

McCray hit a leadoff single in the third inning before coming around to score, and he also launched a solo shot in the ninth. The 25-year-old recorded his first multi-hit performance of the season and is now slashing .143/.262/.304 with 11 runs scored, four stolen bases, three RBI and two long balls across 68 plate appearances in 2026.

Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Realmuto will get a breather after starting the previous four games and going 1-for-13 with two walks and four strikeouts. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate to catch for right-hander Aaron Nola while batting ninth.

Jorge is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

Jorge was called up from Triple-A Louisville on Friday and made his first MLB start Saturday, going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. The 22-year-old will shift to the bench Sunday as lefty Kyle Harrison takes the mound for Milwaukee, with Jorge expected to continue operating on the strong side of a platoon in center field moving forward. Dane Myers is starting in center and batting leadoff for Cincinnati.

The Mets optioned Yan to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

Yan performed well after being called up in early August with three runs allowed in his first nine appearances, but he'll now head back to Syracuse after surrendering five earned runs in his past four outings. Tobias Myers will fill the open roster spot for the Mets.

The Mets recalled Myers from Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.

The right-hander has been at Triple-A since just before the All-Star break but will rejoin the Mets after giving up just two earned runs with a 17:2 K:BB across his past six appearances (14.2 innings) for Syracuse. Myers has struggled to a 6.26 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 33:13 K:BB over 46 frames in the majors this year and should immediately be available in long relief.

The Pirates optioned Yorke to Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday.

The 24-year-old started Saturday against Angels southpaw Yusei Kikuchi, going 0-for-1 with a walk before being replaced by a pinch hitter. Yorke collected four hits with a double, a stolen base and six RBI in his first two games after being called up in mid-August, but he's gone 3-for-20 across the ensuing 11 contests and has now lost his place on the MLB roster. Ronny Simon was recalled from Indianapolis in a corresponding move.

Hayes will test out his strained left groin by running the bases in Cincinnati on Sunday, MLB.com reports.

Hayes is eligible for activation at any point after landing on the 10-day injured list Aug. 28, but it's unclear how soon he might rejoin the Reds. The defensive-minded third baseman had been one of the majors' worst-performing hitters in 2026 prior to landing on the shelf, slashing just .153/.213/.250 with five home runs, one stolen base, 19 runs and eight RBI across 211 plate appearances.

The Pirates recalled Simon from Triple-A Indianapolis on Sunday.

The 26-year-old was demoted to Indianapolis in mid-August but is back in Pittsburgh ahead of Sunday's series finale versus the Angels. Simon is batting .290 in 34 plate appearances in the majors this year but hasn't provided much pop with just one extra-base hit.

Arroyo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

After making five consecutive starts around the infield while going 1-for-16 with a 1:7 BB:K, Arroyo will be relegated to the bench for a second straight day. He could fade into a part-time role after Eugenio Suarez rejoined the Reds on Friday, returning from a two-game absence due to a personal matter.

Pena sustained a fracture in his left fibula during Double-A Biloxi's game against Birmingham on Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Pena suffered the injury on a slide into third base and was carted off the field. The 19-year-old required a splint and the use of crutches to get around, but he's expected to begin his rehab program next week. The fracture continues a tough run of injury luck for Pena, who missed a month earlier this season after collapsing in the dugout due to overheating. He was promoted to Biloxi in mid-August and has a .268/.328/.339 slash line in his first 16 contests at Double-A.
