The Blue Jays outrighted Estrada to Triple-A Buffalo on Monday.

He's no longer on the 40-man roster, but Estrada will remain in the organization after passing through waivers. The 27-year-old righty holds a 6.64 ERA and 19:11 K:BB across 20.1 frames in parts of two seasons for Toronto.

Javier will start Tuesday's game against the Angels in Houston, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Javier will be making his third consecutive start but will take the hill for the first time since Aug. 9, as the Astros were able to get by with a four-man rotation during a six-game slate last week. Over his prior two starts, Javier surrendered seven earned runs on 15 hits and one walk across 11 innings, so his spot in the rotation could be on shaky ground if he's unable to come through with an improved performance Tuesday.

The Twins selected Jackson's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Monday.

Minnesota designated Jackson for assignment Thursday, but after clearing waivers, the 29-year-old will recapture a spot on the 40-man roster and 26-man active roster with Austin Martin (hamstring) heading to the injured list in a corresponding move. Jackson will still be the No. 3 option on the depth chart at catcher behind Ryan Jeffers and Victor Caratini and projects to see limited playing time upon rejoining the Twins.

The Twins placed Martin (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

The severity of the left hamstring strain Martin sustained during Sunday's 7-5 loss to the Phillies isn't yet known, but the 27-year-old will be out of commission for at least the next week and a half. Minnesota called up catcher Alex Jackson from Triple-A St. Paul to take Martin's spot on the 26-man active roster. Martin had opened the season as a near-everyday player for Minnesota, but he's mostly been deployed in the short side of a platoon in the corner outfield for the past two months.

Triple-A Norfolk placed Trimble on the 7-day injured list Friday due to right hamstring discomfort, Andy Kostka of TheBanner.com reports.

Right hamstring injuries have now forced Trimble to the shelf on three separate occasions this season. The switch-hitting outfielder has at least managed to stay productive at Norfolk when he hasn't been hurt, slashing .236/.328/.600 with five home runs and three stolen bases over 64 plate appearances. He's in the midst of his first season as a member of the Orioles' 40-man roster, but the injuries have likely taken him out of consideration for a big-league call-up in 2026.

Gimenez went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Yankees.

The steal was Gimenez's 17th of the season, and five of them have come in August -- a month in which he's produced a .296/.361/.407 slash line with one homer, eight runs and eight RBI in 16 contests. The veteran infielder is still batting in the lower part of the order, but if he stays hot he could get some looks in a more fantasy-friendly spot as the Jays search for offense while Vladimir Guerrero (concussion) is on the shelf.

Arrighetti (foot) threw 3.2 innings for Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk. He struck out three.

The right-hander built up to 50 pitches (35 strikes) and blanked Worcester for three frames before serving up a two-run homer to Mikey Romero in the fourth. Arrighetti doesn't seem quite ready to make his Blue Jays debut, however. Per Keegan Matheson of MLB.com, Arrighetti's fastball averaged just 90.5 mph, well down from the 92.4 mph he averaged this season in the majors with Houston, and he'll likely need to build up his workload a little further before being entrusted with even a bulk relief role. If he hits the organization's goals on those fronts in his next rehab start, however, he could be activated from the IL before the end of the month.

The Royals outrighted Morgan to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday.

Morgan was booted off the 40-man roster last week, but he'll remain in the organization after passing through waivers unclaimed. The right-handed reliever holds a 5.12 ERA and 1.71 WHIP across 19.1 innings in the majors this season.

Martinez replaced an injured Chase DeLauter (hamstring) on Sunday and went 0-for-3 in a 5-0 loss to San Diego.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt removed DeLauter "out of an abundance of caution," suggesting the injury is mild, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports. If he's unable to return for Tuesday's series opener against the Giants, Martinez should fill in once again.

Jansen (forearm) went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI for Triple-A Round Rock on Sunday.

Originally reported to be rehabbing at Double-A Frisco, Jansen played the fifth game of a rehab assignment with the Express. He caught seven innings Sunday and is 5-for-15 with two walks during his stay in Round Rock. Texas manager Skip Schumaker told MLB.com that he could "be ready soon."
