Steven Kwan LF | CLE
Guardians' Steven Kwan: Reaches 10-homer mark
Kwan went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.
Kwan reached double-digit homers for the first time in his three-year career, opening the scoring with a third-inning solo shot. The outfielder has added a .347/.401/.507 slash line with 28 RBI, 57 runs scored and six stolen bases through 74 contests this season. He's been a little cooler in July, batting .278 (20-for-72) this month, though he has hit three of his homers over those 18 games.

Cade Smith RP | CLE
Guardians' Cade Smith: Secures fifth win
Smith (5-1) struck out three over 1.2 perfect innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Tigers.
Xzavion Curry couldn't complete five innings, and Smith ended up with the win after the Guardians pulled ahead in their half of the fifth. Smith's scoreless streak is up to 9.2 innings, a span in which he has an 18:1 K:BB. For the year, he's at a 2.11 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 67:10 K:BB through 47 innings. He's added a save, 14 holds and a blown save, though he has just two holds and two wins over nine appearances in July. Smith's elite ratios make him an intriguing fantasy option even with virtually no path to saves.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Orioles' Ryan O'Hearn: On base three times Tuesday
O'Hearn went 2-for-3 with a walk and one RBI in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Marlins.
O'Hearn didn't start Sunday after getting hit by a pitch on the knee in Saturday's game versus the Rangers. That was the extent of his absence, and he should be good to regularly serve as the Orioles' designated hitter against right-handed pitchers once again. Tuesday marked his first multi-hit effort since July 3, as he's batting a modest .244 (10-for-41) over 14 contests this month. He's slashing .279/.348/.468 through 299 plate appearances overall.

Brock Stewart RP | LAD
Twins' Brock Stewart: Activation expected Wednesday
Stewart (shoulder) is expected to be reinstated from the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Right shoulder tendinitis sent Stewart to the injured list May 3, and he's allowed one earned run in four innings during a rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul. The 32-year-old has been phenomenal since joining the Twins in 2023, posting a minuscule 0.66 ERA and 1.07 WHIP alongside a 56:17 K:BB through 41 total innings. He'll provide a significant boost to Minnesota's bullpen once he returns, though Jhoan Duran remains locked in as the Twins' primary closer.

Romy Gonzalez DH | BOS
Red Sox's Romy Gonzalez: Notches sixth steal
Gonzalez went 2-for-5 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Rockies.
Gonzalez has hit safely in four of five games since the All-Star break, and this was his second multi-hit effort in a row. The infielder also picked up his sixth steal on his eighth attempt of the year. He's at a .273/.323/.398 slash line with one home run, 10 RBI, eight runs scored, six doubles and a triple over 96 plate appearances. He's enjoyed a boost of playing time with the Red Sox facing four consecutive left-handed starters, but Gonzalez figures to cede his spot at first base to Dominic Smith against right-hander Cal Quantrill in Wednesday's series finale.

Tyler O'Neill RF | BAL
Red Sox's Tyler O'Neill: Reaches 20-homer mark in style
O'Neill went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Rockies.
This was his second multi-homer game in his last four contests. O'Neill is 10-for-23 (.435) over five games since the All-Star break, and it appears his power has returned to the form he displayed in April as well. The outfielder is up to 20 homers, 38 RBI, 54 runs scored, three stolen bases and a .267/.356/.535 slash line through 73 games this season.
-
Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers in victory
Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second RBI in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.
Ramirez put the Guardians ahead 3-2 in the fifth inning with a homer off Joey Wentz, his 24th this year, before driving in what proved to be the deciding run with an RBI single in the sixth. The home run snapped a stretch of 18 games without a long ball for the All-Star third baseman -- he'd posted a subpar .590 OPS in that span. Overall, Ramirez is slashing .274/.325/.518 through 422 plate appearances this season with 82 RBI (second most in the majors behind Aaron Judge), 72 runs scored and 18 stolen bases.

Cooper Criswell RP | SEA
Red Sox's Cooper Criswell: Shines in Colorado
Criswell (4-4) allowed five hits and a walk while striking out four over seven shutout innings to earn the win Tuesday over the Rockies.
This was Criswell's third scoreless outing of the campaign and his first such effort since April 30. For the second appearance in a row, he enjoyed his longest outing of the year, and it's all the more impressive he was able to navigate Coors Field unscathed. He's now at a 4.02 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 54:16 K:BB through 65 innings over 14 appearances (13 starts) this season. Criswell has likely done enough to earn another start, which is tentatively projected to come next week at home versus light-hitting Seattle.

David Festa P | MIN
Twins' David Festa: Promotion imminent
The Twins will recall Festa from Triple-A St. Paul on Wednesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
The Twins will use Steven Okert as an opener for Wednesday's series finale against the Phillies, and Festa is expected to work in bulk relief once Okert is removed from the game. Doing so will allow him to avoid facing Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner and Bryce Harper to begin the game, though Festa's 10.80 ERA in the majors doesn't exactly spark confidence in his ability to handle Philadelphia's high-scoring offense at any point in the contest.

Emmanuel Clase RP | CLE
Guardians' Emmanuel Clase: Up to 30 saves
Clase earned the save Tuesday against Detroit, delivering a perfect ninth inning in a 5-4 victory.
Clase made quick work of the Tigers on Tuesday, closing out a one-run victory to reach the 30-save mark for a third consecutive season. The 26-year-old Clase had been stellar this year -- he's allowed just one earned run in his last 14 innings while converting 17 straight save chances. Overall, his ERA is down to a minuscule 0.78 with a 0.65. WHIP and 39:5 K:BB across 46.1 innings.
