Lewis went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Orioles.

Lewis hit eighth in the order for the second straight game to open the season, but he provided the big hit for the Twins, driving a Kyle Bradish sinker over the left-field wall to give Minnesota a 3-1 lead in the fifth inning. The 26-year-old's potential run production could be a bit limited at the bottom of the order, but he'll likely move his way up if he can stay healthy and productive.

Barlow was charged with his first blown save of the season Saturday, giving up an unearned run on a hit and a walk in the 10th inning of an 8-7 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays. He struck out one.

After Elvis Alvarado, Hogan Harris and Michael Kelly made a hash of things in the seventh, eighth and ninth innings to let the game get to extras, the A's grabbed a 7-6 lead in the top of the 10th and handed the ball to Barlow. He wasn't able to get to the job done, and he very nearly took the loss when Addison Barger's deep drive to right field fell a foot or two shy of being a walk-off homer rather than a game-tying sacrifice fly. The A's closer situation remains muddy, but Barlow at least has a 0.00 ERA through his first two appearances and 2.2 innings.

Sands walked one and struck out two over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Orioles.

The Twins' closer competition was one to watch during spring training, and manager Derek Shelton called on Sands in the ninth inning for Minnesota's first save opportunity. The situation will likely remain fluid, but Sands appears to be the preferred choice out of the gates to begin the 2026 season.

Langeliers went 2-for-4 with a walk and a grand slam in Saturday's 8-7 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays.

After going yard twice in the A's opener Friday, Langeliers belted his third homer of the young season in the seventh inning Saturday off Brendon Little. The 28-year-old backstop is 5-for-8 with six RBI to begin the season as he looks to beat the career-high 31 home runs he launched in 2025.

Springs didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 8-7 extra-innings loss to the Blue Jays, giving up two runs on five hits and three walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out two.

The veteran southpaw tossed 51 of 83 pitches for strikes in a stingy performance. Springs set career highs in 2025 with 171 innings and 11 wins, but his 4.11 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 138:54 K:BB highlight his somewhat limited fantasy appeal. He'll try to give the A;s more quality innings in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Astros.

Bradley allowed one run on three hits and three walks across 4.1 innings in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Orioles. He struck out nine.

Bradley won a spot in the Twins' rotation during spring training and continued racking up the strikeouts against Baltimore. His fastball remained up compared to 2025, as he averaged 97.4 mph in Saturday's outing compared to 96.2 mph from a season ago. However, walks remain an issue, contributing to Bradley being unable to get deep enough into the game to pick up the win. Bradley's next start should line up for Friday's home opener against his former team, the Rays.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider told reporters that Fluharty suffered a right knee contusion during Saturday's 8-7 extra-innings win over the Athletics, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Fluharty was struck by two comebackers during the seventh inning of Saturday's game, with the second one catching him on the inside of his knee. The good news is that X-rays came back negative, and the injury may not require a trip to the IL. Fluharty will be a key piece in the Blue Jays' bullpen as the team looks to get back to the World Series. Over his last 18 outings of the 2025 regular season, Fluharty posted a 2.41 ERA and 0.86 WHIP across 18.2 innings.

Jax (0-1) blew the save and took the loss Saturday as the Rays were downed by the Cardinals 6-5 in 10 innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk in one-third of an inning.

After blowing the save in Tampa Bay's opener Thursday, Jax was called upon again to protect a one-run lead in the bottom of the 10th, but he instead served up a walk-off single to rookie JJ Wetherholt after a walk and a sacrifice bunt to advance the runners. Jax came into the season expected to lead the Rays' closing committee despite the fact that he didn't record a save in 2025, but those plans could be changing quickly. Left-hander Garrett Cleavinger should be the next man up with Edwin Uceta (shoulder) on the shelf, but Bryan Baker -- who struck out two in a perfect ninth Saturday to get the game to extra innings -- might also be in the mix if manager Kevin Cash wants a righty instead.

Boyle didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Cardinals, allowing two runs on three hits over six innings. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The right-hander wasn't even expected to be part of the Rays' rotation to begin the season, but when Ryan Pepiot (hip) landed on the IL, Boyle was pressed into duty and came through with a quality start on 75 pitches (52 strikes). The lack of free passes was especially encouraging after he walked eight in 9.2 spring innings and had a 5.68 BB/9 for his career coming into the year. It's not yet clear when Pepiot will be ready to return, but Boyle will get at least one more chance to prove he deserves to stick around in a road start next weekend against the Twins.

Arias isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game versus Seattle.

Arias has gone 1-for-7 with three strikeouts through the first two games of the season and will step out of the lineup for the third game of Cleveland's four-game set against the M's. Brayan Rocchio will slide over to shortstop while Daniel Schneemann mans the keystone.
