Polanco is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants due to soreness in his surgically repaired left knee, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Polanco underwent a procedure in October to repair the patellar tendon in his left knee and didn't appear to have any issues during spring training, but he's now sitting Sunday for the second consecutive game. The 31-year-old has gone 9-for-22 with two homers and eight RBI this season, though he's been limited to just five games due to the injury and a stint on the paternity list.

Jansen is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Jansen will sit for the series finale after going 1-for-8 with two strikeouts and two errors behind the plate in the first two games. Ben Rortvedt will bat ninth and catch for righty Drew Rasmussen.

DeLuca is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Miranda went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer, but he'll still sit Sunday for the third time in Minnesota's past four games. Trevor Larnach will receive another turn at designated hitter with Harrison Bader starting in left field.

Melendez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.

Melendez and fellow left-handed-hitting outfielder Kyle Isbel will head to the bench for the series finale while the Orioles send southpaw Cade Povich to the bump. The Royals will roll out a starting outfield of Mark Canha, Maikel Garcia and Hunter Renfroe from left to right.
