Renfroe is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Twins.

It's a routine day off for Renfroe, who is sporting a lowly .416 OPS across his first 10 games of the season. The Royals are going with Cavan Biggio in right field and in the fifth spot in the lineup for Thursday's series finale.

Isbel is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Twins.

Isbel started the first three games of the four-game set, but he'll begin the series finale on the bench. Drew Waters is making his first start of the season for the Royals in center field and will bat ninth.

Massey is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest against the Twins.

It's the first day off this season for Massey, who has put up a lowly .563 OPS in his first 12 contests. Maikel Garcia will be at second base and bat sixth for the Royals.

Buxton is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Kansas City.

It's the second day in a row that Buxton has been absent from the Twins' lineup. He's not dealing with any known injury, so this appears to be about giving Buxton an extended breather after he wore the golden sombrero Tuesday. Harrison Bader is in center field and batting ninth for Minnesota on Thursday.

The White Sox selected Palacios' contract from Triple-A Charlotte on Thursday.

The addition of Palacios helps restore some depth to the Chicago outfield after Mike Tauchman (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Andrew Benintendi (adductor) also went on the IL a day earlier, leaving both of Chicago's corner-outfield spots in flux at the moment. The White Sox will likely mix and match at both spots while Benintendi and Tauchman are on the shelf, with Palacios, Austin Slater, Brooks Baldwin, Michael Taylor and Greg Jones all being candidates to see playing time at either outfield position. The 29-year-old Palacios owns a career .230/.286/.364 slash line with 12 home runs and seven steals over 433 plate appearances across parts of four seasons in the big leagues with Toronto, Washington and Pittsburgh.

Moncada (thumb) is not in the lineup for Thursday's contest in Tampa Bay, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Moncada aggravated a right thumb injury for a second time Wednesday, forcing his exit from the game. The infielder has not been placed on the injured list to this point, so consider him day-to-day for now. Luis Rengifo is at third base and Kyren Paris is at second base for the Angels in Thursday's series finale.

The White Sox selected Narvaez's contract from Double-A Birmingham on Thursday.

Narvaez was cut loose by the White Sox late in spring training after failing to win a spot on the Opening Day roster, but he rejoined the organization on a minor-league deal shortly thereafter. With top catching prospects Kyle Teel and Edgar Quero both in need of regular playing time at Triple-A Charlotte, Narvaez headed to the White Sox's Double-A affiliate and appeared in three games before getting a call-up in the wake of Chicago losing Korey Lee to a left ankle sprain. While he's up with the big club, Narvaez will likely see limited opportunities behind No. 1 backstop Matt Thaiss, and Narvaez could be designated for assignment once Lee is cleared to return from the injured list.

Arias is absent from the lineup for Thursday's contest against the White Sox, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Arias has been an everyday player for the Guardians this season, mostly at second base, but he will receive a day off in Thursday's series finale. Daniel Schneemann will occupy the keystone and bat eighth as Cleveland goes for the sweep.

The White Sox placed Lee on the 10-day injured list Thursday due to a left ankle sprain.

Lee sustained the injury in the sixth inning of Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Guardians. The severity of the ankle sprain isn't known, but since it's considered more than a day-to-day concern, Lee was deactivated and replaced on the 26-man active roster by veteran backstop Omar Narvaez, whose contract was purchased from Double-A Birmingham. Matt Thaiss should still see the majority of the starts behind the plate while Lee is on the shelf.

Thomas (wrist) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game versus the White Sox, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Thomas will miss a second straight start as he deals with a right wrist contusion. He's feeling "much better" after treatment and could be available off the bench Thursday, per Guardians manager Stephen Vogt. Nolan Jones is again handling center field Thursday, while Jhonkensy Noel will patrol right field.
