Chapman picked up the save in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Angels. He allowed a solo home run while striking out two over one inning.

A two-out solo homer from Zach Neto kept Chapman from retiring the side in order, but the 38-year-old struck out the next batter to lock down his 18th save. The southpaw has been a bit shaky of late, allowing six earned runs across six innings over his past seven appearances. He has also taken a pair of losses while converting four of six save opportunities during this stretch. Despite the recent hiccups, Chapman has been effective overall in 2026, posting a 2.36 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 35:12 K:BB across 26.2 innings.

Johnson (1-4) took the loss Sunday, allowing five runs (two earned) on six hits and a walk over four innings against the Red Sox. He struck out six.

The 23-year-old was done in by the long ball, surrendering a two-run homer to Jarren Duran in the second inning before serving up a three-run shot to Willson Contreras in the third frame, though all three runs on the latter blast were unearned due to an error earlier in the inning. Johnson dazzled with six shutout innings June 23 against the Orioles but has otherwise struggled at the big-league level in 2026. The right-hander will take a 6.99 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 24:10 K:BB across 28.1 innings and eight appearances (five starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Twins.

Duran started at third base and went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Tigers.

Duran trimmed Detroit's lead in the eighth inning by taking Drew Anderson deep for his seventh home run of the season. He started at the hot corner in place of Josh Jung (knee) after filling in for shortstop Corey Seager (back) on Saturday. Prior to that, Duran had a stretch of games in right field while filling in for the then-injured Brandon Nimmo. The versatile infielder has swung the bat well recently, batting .353 with an .802 OPS over his last nine games. Through 301 plate appearances this season, Duran is slashing .273/.323/.418 with seven home runs, 15 doubles, two triples, 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and six stolen bases.

Perez went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Phillies.

After starting the afternoon 0-for-3, Perez came through with a two-run double in the eighth inning to provide Kansas City with valuable insurance runs. The veteran catcher has endured one of the toughest offensive seasons of his career and closes in on the All-Star break with career lows in most major offensive ratios. Through 82 games, he is slashing .202/.241/.329 with 10 home runs, 11 doubles, 32 RBI and 29 runs scored.

Burger went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Tigers.

Burger opened the scoring in the third inning by taking Casey Mize deep for his 15th home run of the season. The long ball was a bright spot in what has otherwise been a difficult stretch, as the slugger is batting just 2-for-24 over his last six games. On the year, Burger is slashing .246/.309/.432 with 14 doubles, 53 RBI, 39 runs scored and two stolen bases across 86 games.

Paredes went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Rays.

Paredes added an insurance run in the sixth inning by taking Mason Englert deep for his 12th home run of the season. The infielder has recorded a hit in four consecutive games as he continues to provide steady production in the heart of Houston's lineup. Across 356 plate appearances this season, Paredes is slashing .254/.348/.423 with 12 home runs, 16 doubles, 47 RBI and 36 runs scored.

Walker went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Rays.

Walker opened the scoring in the fourth inning by taking Mason Englert deep for a solo homer. The veteran first baseman has slowed down at the plate recently, batting just .200 (11-for-55) with a 6:17 BB:K over his last 10 games. On the year, Walker is slashing .238/.311/.470 with 20 home runs, 16 doubles, one triple, 57 RBI and 47 runs scored across 90 games.

Teel went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Guardians.

Teel took Tanner Bibee deep in the first inning to record his second home run of the season. He hasn't had a particularly impressive start to his 2026 season after sitting for most of the first half, though he has at least one hit, two of which have gone for extra bases, in six of his last seven starts. Teel has also managed to tally 10 RBI in 11 contests.

Hader earned the save Sunday against the Rays, striking out two and walking one in a scoreless ninth inning.

Hader entered with a two-run lead and worked around a leadoff walk to Junior Caminero to preserve the shutout and collect his ninth save of the season. The veteran closer has recorded multiple strikeouts in six of his last nine appearances and has been absolutely dominant since returning, converting all nine save opportunities while allowing just one run across 14 innings with a 24:7 K:BB.

Englert (0-2) took the loss Sunday against the Astros, allowing two runs on five hits and one walk while striking out nine over 5.2 innings.

Englert was recalled from Triple-A Durham to make the start Sunday and turned in his longest major-league outing while recording a career-high nine punchouts. He surrendered solo home runs to Christian Walker and Isaac Paredes, accounting for all of Houston's offense. Englert also generated 16 swinging strikes and recorded at least one strikeout in every inning he pitched. While the Rays currently lack a scheduled starter for Friday's game against the Mariners, Englert could be the leading candidate to get another turn in the rotation.
