Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's win over the White Sox.

Rafaela crushed his first homer of the season Friday, extending Boston's lead to 6-1 in the fourth inning. The speedy 24-year-old hasn't been able to gain much steam yet in 2025, slashing a weak .213/.273/.295 with one triple, 10 RBI, nine runs scored and four stolen bases across 66 plate appearances (18 games). The righty-hitting Rafaela has reverse splits so far this season, batting .217 versus right-handed pitching and .200 against southpaws in the early going.

Story went 3-for-4 with a pair of three-run home runs and an additional run scored in Friday's win over the White Sox.

It was the 20th career multi-homer game by Story, who first went yard in the first inning to get Boston on the board. He later got the rout fully underway with his second three-run jack, giving the Red Sox a 9-2 lead in the seventh inning. Although the oft-injured shortstop went just 2-for-15 in March, Story is batting .364 with five long balls, 14 RBI, eight runs scored and four stolen bases across 66 at-bats in the month of April and should be rostered in virtually all fantasy leagues at this point.

Benintendi went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's loss to the Red Sox.

Benintendi got the White Sox into the hit column with a bang, driving a 383-foot solo shot into right field in the fourth inning against his former team. The veteran outfielder has been one of the lone bright spots in Chicago's feeble lineup when healthy, hitting .278 with three round trippers, seven RBI and seven runs scored through his first 36 at-bats (11 games) of the campaign. Benintendi should play almost every day, but his fantasy upside will be limited by the lack of talent around him.

Perez will receive an MRI on his left forearm Saturday, Kyle Williams of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Perez reported soreness in his forearm after the third inning of Friday's contest and decided to exit the game rather than push through it. The results of his MRI will help determine if he'll be able to make his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come in Minnesota on Wednesday.

DeGrom (0-1) allowed one run on three hits and a walk while striking out seven over seven innings, taking the loss versus the Dodgers on Friday.

This is the definition of a hard-luck loss -- deGrom gave up a solo home run to Tommy Edman on the second pitch of the game, and that was the difference. DeGrom threw 61 of 96 pitches for strikes in this strong start, so his workload limitations look to be just about gone after his fourth outing. This was deGrom's first quality start of the season, and it was a strong bounce-back effort after he allowed three runs, including two home runs, on three hits and four walks over four innings against the Mariners last Friday. For the season, the right-hander has a 3.32 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 20:7 K:BB across 21.2 innings, though he's also given up five homers.

Kahnle struck out a batter and gave up a walk in two-thirds of an inning to collect his fourth save of the season in Friday's 7-3 win over the Royals.

The Tigers put Kenta Maeda on the mound with a 7-1 lead to begin the ninth inning, but he was pulled after allowing a run and loading the bases while recording just one out. Kahnle then took the hill and walked the first batter he saw to make it a 7-3 ballgame, but the 35-year-old bounced back by striking out Cavan Biggio and getting Drew Waters to line out, putting an end to Friday's festivities. With four saves on the year, Kahnle has seemingly taken a firm hold of the closer job in Detroit and now owns a 1.17 ERA and 0.52 WHIP through 7.2 innings.

Keaschall went 2-for-4 with a double, one RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Friday's 6-4 loss to Atlanta.

Keaschall had a successful major-league debut, taking little time to check off a few firsts. He supplied an RBI single and a steal in the second inning and scored his first run after doubling in the fourth. The top prospect has a bit of speed in his game, as evidenced by his 24 bases between High-A Cedar Rapids and Double-A Wichita last year. He also swiped four bags on five attempts over 14 games with Triple-A St. Paul prior to his call-up this year. The 22-year-old is up to provide extra infield depth as the Twins deal with a handful of injuries, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him carve out a decent share of playing time while in the majors.

Larnach went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-4 loss to Atlanta.

Larnach stretched the Twins' early lead to 3-0 with his third-inning homer. The 28-year-old is seeing consistent time in the lineup between designated hitter and left field, and he could also be an option in right field while Matt Wallner (hamstring) is out. Friday's homer was the first of the season for Larnach, who has added a .185/.299/.246 slash line, five RBI, nine runs scored and one stolen base over 19 contests.

Jobe (2-0) earned the win against the Royals on Friday, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out five batters across five innings.

Back-to-back doubles from Bobby Witt and Vinnie Pasquantino in the first inning put Jobe in an early 1-0 hole, but he only allowed another three hits over the next four frames while his offense helped him out by putting up five runs on Royals ace Cole Ragans. After a rough start to the season, the 22-year-old Jobe has now allowed one run over 11 innings while collecting back-to-back wins across his last two starts. He'll have plenty of momentum heading into his next outing, which is tentatively scheduled for next Friday against Baltimore.

Paddack allowed a run on three hits and a walk while striking out six over five innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Friday.

Paddack gave up just a solo home run to Jarred Kelenic in the fifth inning and left the game with Minnesota ahead 4-1. The bullpen couldn't keep the lead, as Griffin Jax and Cole Sands combined for an eighth-inning meltdown that cost Paddack what would have been his first win this season. He remains at 0-2 with a 7.27 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 15:9 K:BB over 17.1 innings. His last two starts have at least been serviceable, with a total of three runs allowed (two earned) over 10 innings. The right-hander's next start will be at home, either versus the White Sox or the Angels, depending on when Pablo Lopez (hamstring) is activated from the injured list.
