Soler is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Soler started the Angels' first 26 games of the season, but he'll finally take a seat Sunday after going 1-for-13 in the previous three contests. Logan O'Hoppe will rest his legs as the designated hitter while Travis d'Arnaud starts behind the plate in the series finale.

Clase was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo and designated the 27th player for Sunday's doubleheader against the Yankees. He's starting in left field and batting eighth in the first game.

The 22-year-old missed out on Toronto's Opening Day roster but will join the big club for Sunday's twin bill. Clase has been off to a hot start at Buffalo this year with 12 steals and a .364/.475/.424 slash line through 21 games.

Double-A New Hampshire placed Santos on the 60-day injured list March 19.

It's unclear what Santos' injury is. The 22-year-old righty moved from a starting role in 2023 to a relief role in 2024 due to his shaky control and durability issues. He logged a 6.00 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 31:20 K:BB in 27 innings last year at Double-A.

Keith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Orioles.

Keith has a .545 OPS through 81 plate appearances this season and finds himself on the bench Sunday for the fourth time in Detroit's past five contests, with three of those games coming against right-handed pitchers. The 23-year-old was expected to operate as the Tigers' primary first baseman this year, but Gleyber Torres' early oblique injury led to more action at second base, and the strong play of Spencer Torkelson and Zach McKinstry has resulted in a reduced role for Keith since Torres' return.

Santana went 0-for-1 with a walk and an RBI in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Boston. He did not play in the nightcap.

Santana produced a run with a sacrifice fly during Cleveland's four-run first inning, just his second RBI over the last 12 games. His batting average has dipped to .202 following a stretch of 23 at-bats without a hit.

Casas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Casas will sit for a second straight game with the Guardians sending another lefty (Logan Allen) to the mound. The first baseman has yet to start against a southpaw this season, though Sunday's contest marks just the sixth such game for the Red Sox. Romy Gonzalez is receiving another start at first base.

Church is on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A Round Rock with an oblique injury, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

It was reported April 22 that he would be shut down for 7-to-10 days. Church was optioned to Triple-A on April 16 after walking more batters (six) than he struck out (five) in 4.2 innings with the big club. The 24-year-old relief prospect showed roughly the same velocity on his pitches as in 2024, using his 87 mph slider slightly more than his 96 mph fastball. He could still figure into the high-leverage mix in a year or two.

Ramirez went 2-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Red Sox. He went 0-for-4 in the nightcap.

Most of Ramirez's production in the matinee occurred in the first inning, when he drove in the first of four Cleveland runs in the opening frame then stole second base and scored. The third baseman has turned on his jets over the last week. After logging just one theft in his first 17 games, Ramirez has stolen four in the subsequent seven-game span. He might be hard pressed to reach the career-high 41 steals logged in 2024, but Ramirez should record 20 or more for the eighth time in his career.

Quero went 2-for-3 with an RBI, two walks and two runs scored Saturday against the Athletics.

Quero has performed well since being recalled for his big-league debut April 17, with Saturday marking his third multi-hit effort in nine starts. He's also struck out at just a 5.9 percent clip, as opposed to a 15.2 percent walk rate. While he won't remain this successful, Quero certainly doesn't look overmatched in the majors.

Abreu is not in the Red Sox's starting lineup against the Guardians on Sunday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

The Guardians are sending southpaw Logan Allen to the hill for Sunday's rubber match, so the lefty-hitting Abreu will begin the contest in the dugout while Rob Refsnyder starts in right field and bats fifth. Since the beginning of April, Abreu is slashing .221/.326/.390 with three stolen bases, 11 runs scored, three home runs and 12 RBI in 89 plate appearances.
