The Orioles optioned Wolfram to Triple-A Norfolk on Monday.

Wolfram had pitched each of the last two days, allowing two runs on three hits and two walks over 1.1 innings. Kade Strowd will take his spot on the roster and in the bullpen.

Mullins (illness) will start in center field and bat leadoff in Monday's game against the Yankees, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Mullins was unable to play Sunday versus the Tigers due to illness, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in Monday's series opener. The outfielder has been in the leadoff spot for each of his last eight starts for the Orioles.

Rutschman (hand) will start at catcher and bat third in Monday's contest versus the Yankees, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Rutschman sat out Sunday's game against the Tigers with a sore right hand after he injured it blocking a ball in the dirt Saturday, but he's ready to go for the series opener. The 27-year-old will bring a disappointing .677 OPS into play Monday.

Westburg (hamstring) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game versus the Yankees, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

It's the second straight start he's missed due to a sore hamstring. Westburg was reportedly available off the bench Sunday and should be again Monday, so a stint on the injured list looks unlikely at the moment. Ramos Urias is at third base and batting seventh in Monday's series opener.

Nimmala went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and two additional runs scored for High-A Vancouver on Sunday.

It was the 19-year-old's third straight game leaving the yard. Nimmala has taken a big step forward at the plate to begin the campaign, slashing .289/.349/.539 through 18 games and reducing his strikeout rate from 31.8 percent in 2024 to 21.7 percent through his first 83 plate appearances this season. Despite his age, the Blue Jays will have to consider a promotion to Double-A for Nimmala at some point this summer if he continues to thrive against Northwest League pitchers.

White Sox manager Will Venable said last Tuesday that he anticipates Perez (elbow) returning from the 60-day injured list at some point in September, ESPN.com reports. "He's continuing to get evaluated," Venable said of Perez, who was diagnosed last week with a flexor tendon strain in his left elbow. "We're going to treat him and expect him to pitch later on in the summer."

After inking a one-year, $5 million deal with Chicago in the offseason, Perez had been a pleasant surprise through his first four starts of the season, turning in a 3.15 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB over 20 innings. The 34-year-old southpaw left his April 18 start after experiencing forearm soreness and was placed on the IL after his MRI revealed a strain. Perez won't require reconstructive Tommy John surgery on his elbow, but he'll be shut down for an extended period and may not be ready to begin his throwing program until well after the All-Star break. Even if Perez makes it back from the shelf late in the season, he may not have enough time to get ramped up for a starting role and could work out of the bullpen.

Single-A Charleston activated Gillen (calf) from the 7-day injured list Sunday.

The No. 18 overall pick in 2024, Gillen went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a strikeout in his first game of the year for the RiverDogs. The 19-year-old center fielder has missed significant time due to injuries dating back to high school, but he was seen as one of the best prep hitters in last year's draft and has a chance to add notable power while stealing double-digit bases per season.

Enright (lat) issued three walks over a scoreless inning of relief Sunday for Triple-A Columbus after being activated from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Enright struggled to find the strike zone in his 2025 debut, but he was able to get himself out of a jam after loading the bases in the sixth inning. The right-hander had opened the season on Columbus' IL after he sustained a low-grade right lat strain prior to reporting to spring training. He possesses a spot on the Guardians' 40-man roster but is unlikely to be in the mix for a call-up anytime soon.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Sunday that Stephan (elbow) is "progressing well" and is expected to return to game activity at the organization's spring training complex in Arizona at some point in May, Michael Beaven of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Stephan missed the entire 2024 season while recovering from UCL reconstruction surgery, which he underwent last March. Now more than a year removed from the procedure, Stephan has reached the point in his recovery program that he's facing hitters, and he'll likely soon test himself in a simulated-game setting in Arizona before reporting to an affiliate for a rehab assignment. The right-hander was a key piece of the Cleveland bullpen in his last healthy season in 2023, turning in a 4.06 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 75:26 K:BB while collecting seven wins, 30 holds and two saves over 71 appearances.

Guardians manager Stephen Vogt said Sunday that Fry (elbow) is "progressing well" and is expected to return to game activity at the organization's spring training complex in Arizona at some point in May, Michael Beaven of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

A 2024 All-Star, Fry's production slowed down in the second half of last season while he played through right elbow inflammation, but he bounced back during the Guardians' playoff run, hitting .286 with two home runs over 10 postseason contests. The 29-year-old ultimately needed surgery in early November to repair the UCL in his elbow, and since the procedure was to his throwing arm, he's not expected to be ready to catch or play the infield or outfield until 2026. The Guardians still envision Fry contributing as a designated hitter in 2025, so he could return from the 60-day injured list once he stacks up some at-bats at extended spring training and during his minor-league rehab assignment.
