Jenkins (ankle) received a cortisone injection Tuesday, Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Jenkins has been on the injured list at Double-A Wichita since April 9 due to a sprained left ankle. His injection will help aid in the healing process, but the Twins don't expect him to return to action before the end of May. How far his absence extends beyond that will depend on how quickly he progresses through his rehab.

Torres went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Astros. He also stole a base.

Torres recorded his third home run and fourth stolen base of the season, and it was the first time this year that he had one of each in the same game. The infielder has been a steady performer in his first season with the Tigers, as he's now batting .292 with a .794 OPS across 18 appearances.

Garcia went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.

Garcia was one of three Rangers to log three RBI in Tuesday's rout, and each of his RBI came on a bases-clearing double during Texas' eight-run barrage in the sixth inning. The veteran slugger, who batted seventh in the order for a second consecutive game, still has just one extra-base hit in his last six games and hasn't homered in any of his last eight, batting .191 with two big flies, 10 RBI, eight runs scored over 89 at-bats in April. Garcia does have three stolen bases during that span, though.

Carpenter went 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Astros.

Carpenter opened the game with his seventh home run of the season, taking Houston starter Ryan Gusto deep in the top of the first inning. It was also the second long ball in as many nights for the outfielder, who remains a top offensive threat against right-handed pitching, posting an .855 OPS in those matchups this year.

Langeliers went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's loss to Texas.

Langeliers snapped a seven-game homer dry spell Tuesday, taking Rangers right-hander Dane Dunning deep in the seventh inning. The hard-hitting backstop may not be helping fantasy managers in category-based leagues with his .232 batting average through 26 outings, but he's now up to six long balls, 14 RBI, 13 runs scored and one stolen base over 99 at-bats this season as a solid source of power at the catcher position.

Blubaugh will start Wednesday's game against the Tigers, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Blubaugh was added to Houston's taxi squad Tuesday while the team debated on relying on its bullpen or a spot starter Wednesday to give Hayden Wesneski a couple of extra days to rest. The Astros opted for the latter, creating an opportunity for the 24-year-old righty to make his MLB debut. Blubaugh has turned in a 3.86 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 21 innings at Triple-A Sugar Land this season, and he'll be welcomed to the majors by the American League's fourth-highest scoring offense.

Gusto didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Tigers after allowing two runs on four hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out six.

Gusto tied a season high with six punchouts, and he was also able to generate 12 whiffs Tuesday. However, his two walks represented a season worst, and he couldn't get through the fifth inning despite throwing a season-high 90 pitches. Over 27 innings in 2025, the rookie right-hander has still been a pleasant surprise for the Astros with a 3.00 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 29:6 K:BB so far. With Lance McCullers (forearm) on the verge of being activated from the injured list, Gusto is still in danger of losing his rotation spot.

Olson (3-2) took the loss Tuesday against the Astros after allowing three runs on four hits and three walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out seven.

En route to matching a season high with seven punchouts, Olson induced an outstanding 18 whiffs Tuesday. However, he tied a season worst in walks, and the hurler's three runs allowed were his most since he gave up four in the April 11 game against the Twins. Through his first 33 innings of the campaign, Olson owns a solid 3.55 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 32:14 K:BB. The right-hander has also yielded just one home run in six starts in 2025, but his ability to keep the ball in the yard will be tested in his next scheduled start against the Angels, who entered Tuesday ranked fifth in MLB in homers (39) as a team.

DeGrom (1-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Athletics after allowing four hits and no walks in six scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

The two-time Cy Young Award winner found himself in vintage form Tuesday, producing 16 whiffs while delivering his first scoreless outing since his first start of the season. While he did toss a season-low 65 pitches, the oft-injured deGrom's reduced workload was likely a byproduct of the Rangers taking a commanding 12-0 lead in the sixth inning. After a shaky first three starts of the year, during which he conceded four homers, the right-hander has a sparkling 1.47 ERA and 20:1 K:BB over his last three appearances (18.1 innings). DeGrom's next start is set to come this weekend at home against the hard-hitting Mariners, who entered Tuesday ranked third in MLB in home runs (42).

Lopez (0-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Rangers after allowing three runs on six hits and four walks in 2.2 innings. He struck out four.

Although Lopez was able to escape a bases-loaded jam in the first inning during his first start of the season, he was already up to 37 pitches after one frame. He also allowed a leadoff baserunner in each of his three innings of work Tuesday. The left-hander has a 3.86 ERA over seven innings so far, but his 9:7 K:BB and 2.57 WHIP are major causes for concern. It remains to be seen if Lopez will get another chance to start for the Athletics in the absence of J.T. Ginn (elbow), but the former's next appearance tentatively lines up for this weekend in a soft matchup against Miami.
