The Twins placed Buxton (hip) on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Aaron Gleeman of AaronGleeman.com reports.

Buxton has been in and out of the lineup over the past week with a right hip issue, and he aggravated the injury during Sunday's game against the Yankees. He will be eligible to return at the beginning of the second half, but it's unclear whether Buxton will be ready to go at that time. Ryan Kreidler will likely see the lion's share of starts in center field for Minnesota while Buxton is shelved.

Ingle is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Ingle is off to a rough 2-for-21 start with 12 strikeouts in his first seven big-league contests, so he'll get a day to regroup. Steven Kwan is in left field and Rhys Hoskins is in the designated hitter slot for the Guardians.

Wesneski (elbow) struck out three and allowed one earned run on two hits and one walk across four innings Sunday in a rehab start with Double-A Corpus Christi. He also hit a batter and threw two wild pitches.

After tossing three shutout innings in his first rehab start in the rookie-level Florida Complex League on June 30, Wesneski jumped up a few rungs on the minor-league ladder for his second outing. Wesneski -- who is on the comeback trail after undergoing Tommy John surgery last May -- built up to 46 pitches (29 strikes) in Sunday's appearance, generating seven whiffs along the way. The right-hander will likely need to make two or three more rehab starts before coming off the 60-day injured list, but he may not have a rotation spot with the big club waiting for him once he's activated.

Jung (knee) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

The third baseman didn't start Sunday versus the Tigers after fouling a pitch off his knee Saturday, and he'll remain on the bench after Monday's team off day. Ezequiel Duran will shift to the hot corner in place of Jung while Josh Smith and Nicky Lopez start at second base and shortstop, respectively.

Triple-A Sugar Land placed Alexander on its 7-day injured list June 17 due to an unspecified injury.

After the Astros optioned Alexander to Triple-A on May 27, the right-hander made two starts before landing on the shelf. He'll likely remain out through the All-Star break, though an official timeline for his return to the Sugar Land rotation has yet to be established. Alexander owns a 5.32 ERA and 1.61 WHIP across 44 innings at Triple-A this season.

The Astros recalled Santa from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

It's a well-deserved return to the big leagues for Santa, who posted a 0.71 ERA, 0.79 WHIP and 8:5 K:BB across 12.2 frames in his first taste of the majors earlier this year. He should fill a low-leverage relief role while up with Houston.

Dominguez is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Rays.

Dominguez had started every game since June 16, but he will begin Tuesday's festivities on the bench. Max Schuemann will cover right field in Dominguez's stead.

The Astros optioned Burrows to Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Burrows tied a season worst with seven earned runs allowed Monday against the Nationals, giving him a 6.84 ERA and 5.9 K/9 across his past 10 appearances. The right-hander was acquired from the Pirates during the offseason after posting a 3.94 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 97:31 K:BB over 96 innings during 2025, but he'll likely need to get back on track at Sugar Land before getting another look in the Astros' rotation.

Langeliers (thumb) will start at catcher and bat third in Tuesday's contest versus the Tigers.

Langeliers missed the last two games while dealing with a left thumb contusion, but he's ready to roll following the team off day Monday. He and his teammates will be taking on southpaw Tarik Skubal in the series opener.

The White Sox announced Saturday that Berroa (elbow) will start throwing again in 1-to-2 weeks, MLB.com reports.

After recovering from his March 7, 2025 Tommy John surgery, Berroa began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League on May 13 but threw just four pitches in that appearance before being shut down due to right elbow inflammation. The 26-year-old has seemingly responded well to treating the injury with rest and rehab over the past two months and will soon begin ramping up his throwing. Berroa is unlikely to be an option for the White Sox bullpen until August.
