Triple-A Columbus reinstated DeLauter (sports hernia) from its 7-day injured list Thursday.

Columbus placed DeLauter on its IL prior to the start of the season after the outfielder required sports hernia surgery in early March. After an extended rest and rehab period, DeLauter was cleared to begin a rehab assignment May 6 in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League, where he slashed .182/.357/.455 with two home runs and one stolen base in eight games. The 23-year-old has a checkered injury history, but he remains one of the Guardians' top upper-level prospects and should have a chance at making his MLB debut later on this season if health prevails.

Cruz will play catch Thursday after an MRI on his right shoulder came back negative, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

Cruz felt a pull in his right trap area recently that has left him unavailable to pitch recently. He was given a cortisone shot to combat inflammation and the hope is that he will be able to avoid the injured list, but it's not clear when he might be available to pitch again.

Haggerty started in center field, batted leadoff and went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and was caught stealing in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Yankees.

Haggerty launched his first home run of the season in the seventh inning to give the Rangers a 3-1 lead. He made a fourth straight start in center field since Evan Carter (quadriceps) landed on the 10-day injured list and has hit safely in all four contests. He's also batting leadoff against lefties. Haggerty's making the most of this opportunity and has hit safely in all six games in which he's started. Carter's injury is a Grade 2 strain which will likely require more than the 10-day minimum, so the opportunity for Haggerty could be an extended one.

Urena gave up two hits and struck out one in two scoreless innings of relief Wednesday during a 14-0 win over the Padres.

The right-hander threw 35 pitches (24 strikes), which could leave him unavailable to provide any length out of the bullpen when Eric Lauer makes his next scheduled start Friday in Tampa Bay. Urena has a 4.82 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 3:3 K:BB in 9.1 innings over four appearances (two starts) since joining the Blue Jays, but he seems unlikely to be a factor in the team's rotation any time soon, given his recent usage.

Springer went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's win over the Padres.

The 35-year-old outfielder snapped a 1-for-22 slump over his prior seven games with the performance. Despite that stumble, Springer is having a remarkable bounce-back campaign after a rough 2024 -- his .374 OBP would be his best mark since 2019, and with seven steals in 45 contests, he's on pace to top the career-high 20 bags he pilfered in 2023.

Lukes went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's rout of the Padres.

Lukes took Randy Vasquez deep in the fifth inning to open the scoring for the Blue Jays. The 30-year-old outfielder is slashing .302/.400/.535 through 52 plate appearances in May with three of his four homers on the season, along with nine runs and 10 RBI, and with Anthony Santander (hip) still not 100 percent healthy, Lukes should continue seeing consistent playing time against right-handed pitching.

Sosa went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Wednesday against the Mariners.

Sosa has been in a timeshare arrangement at second base with Josh Rojas for the last week, starting only three of the last seven games. However, Sosa has been in the lineup for the last two contests and went 3-for-7 with a double and a homer. He now has four home runs on the season while hitting .272 across 167 plate appearances.

Meidroth went 2-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a stolen base Wednesday against the Mariners.

Meidroth hit only .228 across his first 19 games in the majors, but his more recent sample has been positive. He has at least one hit in each of his last nine starts -- including five multi-hit games -- and has hit .417 with one homer, three RBI, six runs scored and five stolen bases in that span.

Elko went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and and additional run scored Thursday against the Mariners.

Immediately after being called up, Elko sat against most right-handed pitching. However, he's now started five straight games, four of which came against righties. Elko has an ugly 10:1 K:BB across 32 plate appearances, though he has mashed three home runs.

Raleigh went 2-for-3 with a double and a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the White Sox.

Raleigh took Brandon Eisert deep in the sixth inning, tying the game at 4-4. The homer was Raleigh's fourth in nine games and his 16th on the year, tying him with Aaron Judge for second most in MLB behind Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Schwarber. The 28-year-old Raleigh is slashing .249/.370/.584 with 33 RBI, 32 runs scored and five stolen bases across 208 plate appearances this year.
