Mariners' Randy Arozarena: Three more hits Monday
Arozarena went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 6-3 win over the Orioles.
Aroazarena's now 7-for-14 with two doubles and four RBI in his last four games. While his power numbers have dropped off -- Arozarena has six homers through 67 games after hitting a career-high 27 last year -- it's been an excellent year overall for the outfielder, who's now slashing .293/.381/.447 with 30 RBI, 43 runs scored and 18 stolen bases.

Shea Langeliers C | ATH
Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Homers in three-hit effort
Langeliers went 3-for-7 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and an additional run scored in Monday's 15-14 extra-innings loss to Milwaukee.
Langeliers sent the first pitch of the bottom of the first inning from Kyle Harrison way over the left-field wall for a solo homer. While he didn't join teammates Nick Kurtz and Tyler Soderstrom in the two-homer club Monday, Langeliers added two singles to record his sixth three-hit performance of the campaign. The 28-year-old has been one of the best offensive catchers in MLB this season, slashing .285/.349/.542 with 17 homers, 13 doubles, 35 RBI, 43 runs and a stolen base across 60 games.

Tyler Soderstrom LF | ATH
Athletics' Tyler Soderstrom: Launches two homers in loss
Soderstrom went 3-for-4 with two home runs, four total RBI and two walks in Monday's 15-14 extra-innings loss to the Brewers.
Soderstrom was blistering hot at the plate, launching a three-run homer in the third inning before going deep again with a solo shot in the seventh frame, with both blasts coming against southpaws. Since May 20, the 24-year-old is slashing .371/.487/.694 with five homers, 14 RBI and seven runs across 18 appearances. The surge has boosted his season line to .237/.333/.457 with 10 homers, 34 RBI and 29 runs after a pedestrian start to the campaign.

Nick Kurtz 1B | ATH
Athletics' Nick Kurtz: Goes deep twice in loss
Kurtz went 3-for-6 with two home runs, three total RBI, three total runs scored and a walk in Monday's 15-14 extra-innings loss to Milwaukee.
Kurtz electrified Las Vegas Ballpark, connecting on a solo shot over the left-field fence in the sixth inning before demolishing a 447-foot, two-run homer to right field in the 10th inning of Monday's back-and-forth affair. The first baseman has now homered in consecutive games and launched six long balls over his past 10 contests. The 23-year-old has blossomed into one of the most feared hitters in the sport, slashing .282/.434/.521 with 14 homers, 12 doubles, a triple, 48 RBI, 45 runs and seven stolen bases across 65 games.

Hogan Harris RP | ATH
Athletics' Hogan Harris: Blows save Monday
Harris blew the save in Monday's extra-innings loss against the Brewers. He allowed two runs on two hits and a walk while striking out three over 1.2 innings.
Harris entered for a five-out save and was able to escape trouble in the eighth inning but couldn't finish the job in the ninth frame, surrendering a game-tying, two-run double to Andrew Vaughn. The Athletics' closer situation remains fluid, with manager Mark Kotsay frequently mixing and matching in high-leverage spots, though Harris still leads the club with five saves to go along with two blown saves. After Monday's rough outing, the southpaw owns a 2.84 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 37:23 K:BB across 31.2 innings this season.

Jeffrey Springs SP | ATH
Athletics' Jeffrey Springs: Surrenders five runs in no-decision
Springs did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings against the Brewers. He struck out three.
Springs was able to grind through five innings, but they weren't particularly effective, as he allowed plenty of traffic and surrendered a pair of homers. After not allowing a homer in any of his first four starts of the campaign, the southpaw has been plagued by the gopher ball, allowing at least one ball to leave the yard in nine of his past 10 outings. The 33-year-old will take a 3-6 record with a 4.68 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 63:23 K:BB across 75 innings (14 starts) into his next outing, tentatively scheduled for Sunday against the Rockies.

Zachary Neto SS | LAA
Angels' Zach Neto: Homers in third straight game
Neto went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's extra-inning loss to Houston.
Neto came up big in the seventh inning, slugging a solo shot to give the Angels a 4-3 lead. The talented young shortstop has now gone deep in each of his past three games, though those are his only hits during that span, and they've been accompanied by seven strikeouts. That's pretty indicative of how the season has gone for Neto -- he's batting an uninspiring .231 with a 30.4 percent strikeout rate through 64 contests, yet 28 of his 58 hits have gone for extra bases (14 doubles, one triple and 13 homers). He also has 10 thefts and is one of 11 big-leaguers so far with double-digit long balls and steals.

Trey Mancini 1B | LAA
Angels' Trey Mancini: Three hits in return to MLB action
Mancini went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI in an extra-inning loss to the Astros on Monday.
Mancini was brought up to the big-league club earlier Monday and started at first base in his first MLB appearance since 2023. The 34-year-old singled home a run in his initial plate appearance and later came around to score. He added two more singles to finish as the only Angels player with multiple knocks. Mancini may be in for a fair amount of run in the starting lineup. as Vaughn Grissom was placed on the 10-day IL on Monday due to an oblique strain while Nolan Schanuel continues to deal with a lingering ankle injury.

Kirby Yates RP | LAA
Angels' Kirby Yates: Blows save Monday
Yates blew a save chance against the Astros on Monday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk while striking out one batter over one inning.
With the Angels up 5-4 entering the ninth inning, manager Kurt Suzuki turned to Yates to shut the door. The veteran right-hander couldn't do so, as Jeremy Pena led off the inning with a walk, stole second base and came around to score on a one-out Christian Walker single. Monday marked Yates' first save opportunity since he logged his lone save May 23, but that's largely due to the Angels' struggles as a team, as the club as a whole has zero saves since then. Though Yates has pitched to a poor 5.23 ERA this season, Suzuki seemed to commit to giving him more ninth-inning opportunities moving forward, saying after the game, "We signed him to be our closer, and we're going to give him a chance to close," per Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com.

Grayson Rodriguez SP | LAA
Angels' Grayson Rodriguez: Bounces back with solid start
Rodriguez allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against Houston on Monday.
Rodriguez was pummeled in his previous start, giving up eight runs (seven earned) over 3.2 innings against Colorado. It was thus promising to see the right-hander respond with a much better performance Monday, as he racked up a season-high six punchouts while giving up an acceptable two earned runs. Rodriguez took a 3-1 lead into the sixth inning, but he appeared to run out of steam in that frame, as he gave up three doubles and two runs before departing with one out. Two very poor outings through five starts have Rodriguez at an ugly 8.10 ERA on the campaign, but he'll try to build some positive momentum in his next appearance, which is lined up to be a home matchup against Tampa Bay.
