Rocker (2-4) picked up the win Sunday against the White Sox, allowing four hits and one walk with six strikeouts over five innings.

Rocker was visited on the mound three times in the fifth inning, twice by the training and coaching staff and once by a ball boy with pickle juice, in an attempt to stave off cramps, per Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News. While he'd finish out the inning, Rocker didn't return for the sixth frame, ending his day after just 82 pitches. Still, it was a strong performance for the 25-year-old, who came into the contest with an 8.87 ERA over six starts. Sunday's outing marked Rocker's first career scoreless outing and served as a bounce-back after he yielded five runs in each of his previous two appearances. He's set to temporarily fill Tyler Mahle's (shoulder) spot in the rotation, and his next start is scheduled to come at Pittsburgh.

Fried (9-2) yielded two runs on six hits and two walks over seven frames Sunday, striking out nine and taking a loss against Boston.

Fried coughed up a run in the first inning before Rafael Devers belted a solo shot in the fifth. Unfortunately for Fried, he was outdueled by Brayan Bello (seven scoreless innings) and the Yankees were shut out. Fried tossed 72 of 106 pitches for strikes and generated 15 whiffs. He's sporting a terrific 1.89 ERA with a 90:20 K:BB through 95 frames. He's turned in three straight quality starts after coughing up six runs against the Dodgers on May 30. Fried's next matchup is expected to be at home against the Orioles.

Bello (3-1) yielded three hits and three walks over seven shutout frames Sunday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Yankees.

Bello delivered his best stuff in a huge matchup against Boston's rival to complete the weekend sweep. He gave up a leadoff double to Trent Grisham to begin the game, but only one other Yankee reached scoring position against him. Bello fired 72 of 114 pitches for strikes, including 13 whiffs. He's delivered three straight quality starts, and Sunday's performance was his longest outing of the year. Bello is sporting a 3.49 ERA with a 45:28 K:BB through 59.1 frames. He's projected to start in San Francisco next weekend.

Tibbs has been assigned to Double-A Portland following his trade to the Red Sox on Sunday, Andrew Parker of Beyond the Monster reports.

Tibbs was dealt to Boston as a part of a trade that sent Rafael Devers to the Giants on Sunday. The former has impressed this year with High-A Eugene, batting .246 with 23 extra-base hits, including 12 homers, over 57 games. Tibbs will now get his first taste of Double-A action with Portland.

Whitlock threw 1.2 perfect innings to earn a save over the Yankees on Sunday. He struck out one batter.

Whitlock entered the game with two on and one out in the eighth inning and forced Aaron Judge to ground into a double play. Whitlock then retired the Yankees' 4-5-6 batters in order to close out the 2-0 win. He earned his first save since 2023 and dropped his ERA to 2.97 through 36.1 frames. Aroldis Chapman did not appear in the game.

Berrios (2-3) yielded six runs on nine hits and a walk over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out five and taking a loss against Philadelphia.

Berrios gave up a run in the first and third innings, followed by two more in the fourth. His day was over shortly after serving up a two-run shot to Alec Bohm in the fifth. Berrios had given up six total runs across 30.2 frames (1.76 ERA) over his previous five starts. It was the third time in his 15 outings this season in which he allowed at least five runs. Berrios now owns a 3.81 ERA with a 76:33 K:BB over 87.1 frames. He's lined up for a home matchup with the White Sox next weekend.

The Red Sox designated Penrod for assignment Sunday.

Penrod will now be exposed to waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, he'll likely remain in the organization with Triple-A Worcester. The left-hander has posted a 5.68 ERA and 2.05 WHIP with seven strikeouts over 7.1 innings in six appearances with Worcester this season. The transaction makes room for left-hander Kyle Harrison and right-hander Jordan Hicks (toe) on Boston's 40-man roster after the team dealt designated hitter Rafael Devers to the Giants on Sunday.

The Red Sox optioned Harrison to Triple-A Worcester after acquiring him from the Giants on Sunday.

Along with Harrison, the Red Sox brought in right-handers Jordan Hicks (toe) and Jose Bello and outfielder James Tibbs in a deal that sent designated hitter Rafael Devers to San Francisco. Though Harrison will likely be an option to make starts for the Red Sox later this season, the big club didn't have a spot available for him in the rotation, so he'll begin his tenure in the organization at Triple-A. The left-hander turned in a 4.48 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 178 strikeouts over 182.2 innings in 39 appearances (35 starts) during parts of three seasons in the majors with the Giants.

Bazardo threw a scoreless ninth inning in Sunday's 6-0 win over Cleveland, allowing one hit and fanning one.

The 29-year-old right-hander submitted his fourth consecutive scoreless appearance and his eighth in his last nine outings. Bazardo has no holds and a lone save opportunity in 2025, so he remains ranked fairly low in Seattle's bullpen hierarchy. On the campaign, he still owns a quality 3.41 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 30:14 K:BB through 34.1 innings.

Moncada (knee) is limited to taking swings off a tee from the left side and didn't travel with the Angels on their current road trip, MLB.com reports.

The switch hitter landed on the injured list June 2 due to right knee inflammation and hasn't yet been able to resume swinging a bat from the right side of the plate. Moncada may be reassessed when the Angels return home Friday. His timeline for a return remains uncertain, but late June appears to be a best-case scenario for him to be activated.
