The Blue Jays activated Lukes (concussion) from the 7-day injured list Friday.

Lukes exited the Blue Jays' win over the Cardinals on June 9 with the injury. With Anthony Santander (shoulder) and Daulton Varsho (hamstring) still out for Toronto, Lukes will vie for playing time in the outfield alongside Addison Barger and George Springer. Lukes is slashing .267/.360/.392 with four home runs, 21 RBI, 19 runs scored and one stolen base across 143 plate appearances this season.

The Blue Jays activated Sandlin (lat) from the 15-day injured list Friday.

Sandlin hasn't pitched in the majors since April 19 but did make five rehab appearances ahead of his activation. Prior to his injury, Sandlin held a 2.25 ERA and 10:4 K:BB across eight innings of work. He should slide back into a middle-relief role for Toronto.

Manager Aaron Boone said Friday that Weaver (hamstring), who was reinstated from the 15-day injured list earlier in the day, and Devin Williams will both see save chances, Max Goodman of NJ.com reports.

Weaver was serving as the Yankees' closer when he landed on the injured list in early June, but Williams is in strong form with a 1.72 ERA, 0.77 WHIP and 23:2 K:BB across his past 15.2 innings. Weaver has been consistently dominant this year with just three earned runs allowed in 24 appearances, and he still has a fair amount of fantasy value while splitting save chances for the Yankees, though it remains unclear exactly how even the split will be.

Aaron Boone said Friday that Williams and Luke Weaver will both receive save opportunities, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Williams has turned things around after allowing 12 runs in his first 10 appearances this season, notching a 2.79 ERA in 19.1 innings since. He saw extended action at closer recently while Weaver was on the shelf and impressed enough to earn a share of the save chances even though Weaver is healthy. It's not clear exactly how ninth-inning duties will be divvied up, so fantasy managers should keep a keen eye on both Williams and Weaver moving forward.

Cobb (hip) is scheduled to throw his next bullpen session Saturday, Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Cobb received an injection to address left hip inflammation June 13, and after a week-long shutdown period, he's been cleared to resume throwing off a mound. Assuming he doesn't endure another setback, Cobb should head back out on a rehab assignment within a week or two. He remains on the Tigers' 60-day injured list and has yet to make his 2025 debut with the big club.

Jeffers is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Milwaukee.

Jeffers was struck in the hand by a foul tip Tuesday and missed Wednesday's contest because of it. Despite returning Thursday, Jeffers will get the night off Friday. Christian Vazquez will fill in behind the dish and bat ninth.

O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

O'Hearn missed a game last weekend due to a left ankle injury, but he's started four straight contests since, going 2-for-13 (.154) at the plate. He'll yield to Coby Mayo at first base while Adley Rutschman plays DH.

Smith (hamstring) is batting leadoff and playing DH on Friday against Pittsburgh.

Smith was held out of the lineup for three consecutive games due to left hamstring soreness, but he's been cleared to DH on Friday. The Rangers could look to ease Smith back into work in the field. He logged a hit in seven straight games before sustaining the injury, going 13-for-31 (.419) with two homers during that stretch.

Holliday is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

Holliday is in the midst of a 4-for-31 (.129) slump at the plate, and he'll get the night off Friday to clear his head. In his place, Jordan Westburg will play second base and lead off.

Henderson is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Yankees.

Henderson isn't part of the starting nine for the first time since June 6, resting for the series opener against New York. Luis Vazquez will bat ninth and fill in at shortstop.
