McClanahan (triceps) threw off a mound Wednesday, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

It appears to be his first time throwing off the bump since he was shut down for a bit earlier this month. McClanahan visited a nerve specialist following the brief shutdown period, and that doctor gave the go-ahead to ramp things back up. There is no timetable for McClanahan's return to the Rays' rotation.

Castro (wrist) will start at third base and bat third in Wednesday's game against the Mariners.

A sore right wrist had kept Castro out of the lineup for each of the previous three games, but he felt well enough to appear off the bench in Tuesday's 6-5 loss. He checked out fine after going 0-for-2 while playing three innings at second base Tuesday and will now pick up his first start since Saturday. He'll occupy third base in place of a resting Brooks Lee on Wednesday, but Castro could end up seeing most of his playing time at the keystone or in the corner outfield moving forward.

Urias is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.

Urias had started at third base in each of the Orioles' last six games and went 3-for-22 with two home runs, one walk and three RBI, but he'll likely move into more of a part-time role moving forward with Jordan Westburg (finger) rejoining the lineup after a three-game absence. Westburg missed each of the previous three contests due to a sprained left index finger, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in Wednesday's series finale. The 26-year-old has gone 0-for-13 with eight strikeouts over his last four games.

Martinez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

The switch-hitting Martinez had started at second base in each of the last five games, but three of those starts came against left-handed pitchers, and the left-handed-hitting Daniel Schneemann occupied other positions in the two matchups with righties. Schneemann still looks poised to occupy the strong side of a platoon at the keystone, though Martinez's ability to play shortstop, third base and all three outfield spots should allow him to see semi-regular playing time against right-handed pitching if one of the Guardians' other everyday players should need a day off.

Wynns is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Wynns will get a breather Wednesday after he had started behind the dish in three of the Athletics' previous four games. With Wynns on the bench, Willie MacIver will handle catching duties for the Athletics.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Wednesday that it "looks like" Bregman (quadriceps) won't return until after the All-Star break, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.

Bregman has already missed a month with a right quad strain. While he has progressed in a running program, he has not yet resumed baseball activities. Bregman and the Red Sox have expressed hope that he could skip a rehab assignment, but given that his absence is now expected to extend to the second half, some rehab games seem likely.
