The Angels recalled Fermin from Triple-A Salt Lake on Saturday.

Fermin has logged 9.1 innings across 10 appearances with the Angels this season, posting a 4.82 ERA and 1.61 WHIP with a 15:5 K:BB and no holds or saves. The righty reliever dealt with a right elbow impingement in May but was activated from a stint on the IL on June 6 and posted a 9:2 K:BB across 5.1 frames with Salt Lake between then and his call-up Saturday. To make room for Fermin on the 26-man roster, veteran reliever Hector Neris was designated for assignment.

Gonzalez went 3-for-5 with a double and a two-run home run during Saturday's 15-1 win over Toronto.

Gonzalez tied a season high with three hits for the third time this year and added to the blowout in the seventh inning, when he took Mason Fluharty deep to center field for a 446-foot, two-run home run. Gonzalez got the start at first base Saturday, but his versatility to play at the keystone and the hot corner should allow him to see at least semi-consistent playing time, especially with Kristian Campbell at Triple-A Worcester.

Lugo (5-5) earned the win against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing four hits and five walks while striking out eight over 5.2 scoreless innings.

Lugo kept the Dodgers off the board despite issuing a season-high five walks, falling one out shy of his third consecutive quality start. It capped a stellar June for the 35-year-old, who allowed just four earned runs while posting a 31:11 K:BB over five outings. He'll take a 2.74 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 76:28 K:BB across 88.2 innings into a road matchup with the Mariners next week.

Holliday went 3-for-5 with a stolen base in Saturday's 11-3 loss to the Rays.

The 21-year-old continues to tease a breakout. Holliday has banged out multiple hits in four of the last eight games, a stretch in which he's batting .288 (15-for-52) with two homers, two steals, four runs and six RBI. With Jordan Westburg (finger) having trouble staying healthy, Holliday has gotten a chance to settle into a full-time job, and he could be poised for a big second half of the season.

Anthony went 3-for-6 with two doubles and two runs scored in Saturday's 15-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Anthony got on base in the second inning on a single before adding doubles in the fifth and eighth. It was the first multi-hit game of his major-league career, and he has gone 7-for-26 (.269) with six runs scored, four doubles and one RBI over his last seven starts.

India went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and three runs scored in Saturday's 9-5 win over the Dodgers.

India was a thorn in the Dodgers' side all game, scoring in the third, fifth and seventh innings. The 28-year-old has had an uneven stretch over his past 10 games, going hitless five times but also notching three multi-hit efforts. For the season, he's slashing .246/.321/.343 with four home runs, 23 RBI and 32 runs scored across 324 plate appearances.

Neto (shoulder) isn't in the starting lineup against the Nationals on Saturday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Neto is beginning on the bench for a third straight game after jamming his shoulder while attempting to steal a base Tuesday. The 24-year-old did appear as a pinch hitter Friday, striking out in the seventh inning, but he didn't play the field following that at-bat. Neto may be available off the bench again Saturday, though he'll likely need to be able to throw without pain before returning to work on defense. Fletcher notes that Neto did throw a bit Saturday and is hoping to return to the lineup Tuesday in Atlanta.

Simpson went 2-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Orioles.

He was also caught stealing, but Simpson has picked up where he left off on the basepaths since returning to the Rays roster Tuesday. The 24-year-old is batting .316 (6-for-19) with a triple and two stolen bases in five games since his promotion, and on the season he's gone 21-for-25 on steal attempts in his first 40 MLB contests.

Abreu went 2-for-6 with a three-run homer, an RBI double and an additional run scored in Saturday's 15-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Abreu was responsible for the Red Sox's first four runs of the game, starting with a three-run homer off Chris Bassitt in the first before bringing home Roman Anthony on an RBI double in the second. It was Abreu's 15th multi-hit game of the season, and his four RBI tied a season high that he set against the Rangers on Opening Day. He has reached base safely in seven of his last eight games, and over that span he has gone 9-for-27 (.333) with one home run and eight RBI.

Aranda went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Saturday's 11-3 rout of the Orioles.

The 27-year-old wasted no time getting to Zach Eflin (back), crushing a fastball 467 feet to right field in the first inning. Aranda has gone yard in back-to-back games to reach 10 homers on the season and extend his hitting streak to 13 games, a stretch in which he's batting .385 (20-for-52) with four doubles, two home runs, seven RBI and nine runs.
