Gausman did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Angels, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks with nine strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Gausman allowed runs in the first and fifth innings and was pulled one out shy of a quality start after a season-high 107 pitches. While the veteran was inefficient at times Sunday, he generated 12 whiffs with his splitter and has now allowed only four earned runs over his past three outings. He'll take a 4.13 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 102:32 K:BB across 104.2 innings into a road matchup with the Athletics next weekend.

Orze allowed an unearned run in one inning during Sunday's extra-inning win over the Twins. He walked one batter and earned a save.

Orze entered the 10th inning with a 7-4 lead and closed things out without much trouble aside from the automatic runner coming around to score. It was his first save since May 9, and he's converted each of his three chances this season. Orze owns a 2.79 ERA with a 35:13 K:BB across 38.2 innings on the campaign. Pete Fairbanks threw 1.2 innings and earned a win Sunday.

Fairbanks (4-2) allowed a hit over 1.2 scoreless innings and picked up a win during Sunday's extra-inning victory against Minnesota. He struck out one.

Fairbanks recorded the final two outs of the eighth inning after Mason Montgomery allowed a game-tying home run to Harrison Bader. Fairbanks then tossed a scoreless ninth to send the game to extras. It was his first win since May 10, and he hasn't earned a save since June 26. Fairbanks dropped his ERA to 2.34 with a 30:14 K:BB through 34.2 frames.

Anderson (2-6) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Sunday, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with two strikeouts over five innings.

Anderson yielded two runs in the fourth inning and was pulled in the sixth after allowing three straight hitters to reach base, including what proved to be the game-winning single. The southpaw was coming off six scoreless frames Tuesday, but he's now surrendered three earned runs or more in seven of his past 10 outings. He'll take a 4.19 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 79:37 K:BB across 96.2 innings into a tough matchup with the Diamondbacks next weekend.

Royals manager Matt Quatraro said that Ragans (shoulder) is likely to resume throwing Monday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

On the shelf since June 11 due to a left rotator cuff strain, Ragans has been barred from throwing for nearly a month while he's waited for the discomfort in his shoulder to subside. After a recent follow-up MRI on his shoulder revealed encouraging results, Ragans looks ready to begin the rehab process in earnest. Ragans still has several checkpoints to reach in his throwing program before he heads out on a rehab assignment, but if he can avoid any setbacks while ramping up, he could return from the 15-day injured list at some point in August.

Sweeney went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk in Sunday's extra-inning win over Cleveland.

Sweeney came up clutch with a three-run blast in the 10th inning to lead Detroit to victory. It was his first long ball since May 12, and he's now 2-for-10 since returning from Triple-A Toledo. Sweeney has produced a lackluster .604 OPS with 27 RBI and 11 extra-base hits through 75 MLB games this season.

Skubal did not factor in the decision during Sunday's extra-inning victory over Cleveland. He gave up three hits over seven shutout frames while striking out 10.

Skubal was his usual dominant self, but the Tigers couldn't get him the win, as they were shut down by Gavin Williams, who threw six shutout innings. Skubal has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his last eight outings, producing a ridiculous 1.12 ERA and 69:7 K:BB during that stretch. He threw 66 of 93 pitches for strikes Sunday and racked up 20 whiffs, with 14 coming via the changeup. Skubal is defending his 2024 AL Cy Young with another impressive campaign; he now owns a 2.02 ERA with a 148:14 K:BB across 116 frames. He's lined up for a home matchup against the Mariners next weekend.

Kwan went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's extra-inning loss to Detroit.

Kwan broke a scoreless tie with his RBI double in the eighth inning and added an RBI sacrifice fly in the 10th. He has multiple hits in three of his last four games after a brief 3-for-28 (.107) skid over his previous seven contests. Kwan is now slashing .298/.358/.419 with 27 extra-base hits and 28 RBI through 370 plate appearances.

Wells went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Mets.

Wells got the scoring started with a solo blast in the third inning and then drove in another run on a groundout in the fourth. The catcher has now hit safely in eight of his past 11 games, highlighted by the two home runs he hit over the weekend. For the year, he's slashing .220/.280/.448 with 13 homers, 48 RBI, 28 runs scored and three steals across 271 plate appearances.

Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a solo homer in Sunday's 1-0 victory over the Pirates.

The Seattle outfielder notched the contest's only run with a 399-foot solo shot off Pittsburgh reliever Carmen Mlodzinski in the sixth inning. After a sluggish start with a .219 average through May 31, Arozarena has been on fire since then, batting .298 (37-for-124) with seven homers, six steals, 22 runs scored and 19 RBI across 33 games. Through 383 total plate appearances in 88 games, the former ALCS MVP is now slashing .249/.355/.446 with 14 long balls, 46 runs scored and 42 RBI while going 15-for-17 on steal attempts.
