McKinstry went 1-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Friday's 12-3 loss to the Mariners. He also stole two bases.

McKinstry kept his strong July rolling along, as he's now batting .323 with a 1.030 OPS across 10 games this month. He also stole two bases in a contest for the second time this season, with the other coming just three days prior. For the year, the utility player has now swiped 15 bases in 18 attempts, and he's paired that with a .287 batting average and .831 OPS through 86 games, giving McKinstry some unexpected fantasy value at this point in the season.

Schanuel went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

After sitting out Thursday's game due to tightness in his left calf, Schanuel returned to his usual spot at first base and looked pretty healthy when he doubled in the eighth inning and then swiped third base. The 23-year-old has had a productive beginning to July, slashing .286/.354/.381 over 10 contests with a homer, a steal, three runs and seven RBI.

Moncada went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

The third baseman took Ryne Nelson deep in the first inning, the second Angels homer of the frame and Moncada's first in four contests since returning from his latest IL stint. The 30-year-old's name has been bandied about in trade rumors, but he may need to show he can stay healthy on the other side of the All-Star break to draw much interest -- Moncada's been in the lineup for only 34 games so far this season, slashing .232/.326/.491 with seven homers and 21 RBI.

Jansen (3-2) picked up the win Friday, giving up a hit in a scoreless ninth inning as the Angels downed the Diamondbacks 6-5. He didn't walk or strike out a batter.

The veteran closer got the call in a tie game to handle the top of the ninth, and Jansen got through the top of Arizona's order on just 10 pitches (eight strikes) thanks to a Lourdes Gurriel double-play grounder. Jansen has two wins and a save in his last three appearances, and he hasn't allowed an earned run since June 15, posting a 0.82 WHIP and 13:2 K:BB over his last 11 innings to go along with that pristine ERA. The Angels are still on the fringes of the AL wild-card race, but if they decide to be sellers at the trade deadline, Jansen could fetch a decent return even as a 37-year-old rental.

Anderson didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks, giving up four runs on eight hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.

The Angels gave Anderson a 4-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning, but the veteran southpaw immediately handed it right back in the top of the second. He left the mound after 84 pitches (54 strikes), and Anderson will head into the All-Star break with his rotation spot potentially hanging by a thread -- he hasn't picked up a win since April 18, and over eight starts since the beginning of June, he's stumbled to a 5.75 ERA, 1.70 WHIP and 36:15 K:BB over 40.2 innings.

Sosa went 2-for-4 with a walk and two solo home runs in the second game of Friday's doubleheader split with the Guardians.

The 25-year-old started both games of the twin bill at second base, and after an 0-for-3 showing in the matinee, Sosa teed off against Gavin Williams in the nightcap with long balls in the first and fifth frames. Sosa's enjoying a productive stretch heading into the All-Star break, slashing .288/.315/.615 over his last 14 games with five of his nine homers on the season and 14 of his 31 RBI.

Cannon didn't factor into the decision in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Guardians, giving up two runs on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five.

Chicago went on to split the twin bill by winning the nightcap in 11 innings, and Cannon pitched well enough to keep his team in the game early, with his only real mistake resulting in a two-run homer by Jose Ramirez in the third inning. Cannon will head into the All-Star break with a 4.44 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 61:29 K:BB through 77 innings on the season, and the 24-year-old righty's spot in the second-half rotation could depend on whether a veteran gets traded away before the deadline, as Davis Martin (forearm) is closing in on his return.

Schneemann went 2-for-8 with a double, a solo home run, a stolen base and a second run scored across both games of Friday's doubleheader split with the White Sox.

The utility infielder started at second base in both contests, swatting his ninth homer of the season in the matinee before swiping his sixth bag in the nightcap. Schneemann's playing time could be in jeopardy after the All-Star break, however, if Lane Thomas (foot) is ready to come off the IL and bump Angel Martinez back to the infield -- Martinez is red hot at the plate, while Schneemann hasn't had a multi-hit performance since June 25 and is slashing a meager .105/.190/.211 over his last 14 games.

Santana went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and a stolen base across both ends of Friday's doubleheader split with the White Sox.

The veteran first baseman clubbed the game-winning homer in the matinee, breaking a 2-2 tie by taking Tyler Alexander deep in the sixth inning, and while Santana began the nightcap on the bench, he drew a walk as a pinch hitter and swiped a bag in the 10th inning. Four of his six steals on the year, and three of his 11 long balls, have come in his last 20 games, a stretch in which Santana is slashing just .171/.275/.314 with nine runs and 10 RBI.

Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a walk, a two-run home run and a stolen base in the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the White Sox.

The 32-year-old superstar went 0-for-4 in the matinee, although he did score a run. Ramirez kept his hot streak going in the nightcap by hooking a Jonathan Cannon cutter down the right-field line for his 18th homer of the season, and his fifth in eight games since July 4. Over that stretch, Ramirez is slashing .300/.417/.833 with five steals, nine runs and nine RBI, and after swiping a career-high 41 bags in 158 games in 2024, he's upped his pace in 2025 with 26 steals (on 31 attempts) in his first 90 contests.
