Arias went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double during Sunday's 4-1 loss to Kansas City.

Arias got the Guardians on the scoreboard in the seventh inning with a solo homer off Angel Zerpa. The round tripper was Arias' seventh of the season and his third over his last 14 games. During that stretch, which spans over a month due to an IL stint, he is 10-for-17 with seven RBI and 20 Ks.

Estevez picked up the save Sunday against Cleveland, allowing one hit with one strikeout over a scoreless ninth inning.

Estevez is back on track after a rough three-appearance stretch in which he yielded five runs and blew three saves over 2.1 innings, as he hasn't allowed a run in three appearances since. The 33-year-old has a 2.62 ERA in 44.2 innings, and his 27 saves are tied for the second most in baseball.

Cantillo (2-1) took the loss Sunday against Kansas City, allowing three runs on three hits and four walks with four strikeouts over four innings.

The Guardians have deployed Cantillo as a starter in July, and he took his first loss of the campaign Sunday in his fifth start, throwing 76 pitches. Control has been an issue for Cantillo as a starter, having walked at least three batters in all but one start thus far. He has a 4.57 ERA and a 27:11 K:BB across 21.2 innings since the role swap. His next appearance is expected to come next weekend against Minnesota.

Cameron (5-4) picked up the win Sunday against Cleveland, allowing three hits and one walk with six strikeouts over five scoreless innings.

Cameron didn't allow a run for the third time in five starts, blanking the Guardians over five innings. It was a nice bounce-back effort for the 25-year-old, who had yielded four runs and two homers to the Cubs in his previous start. In 14 starts this season, Cameron has a 2.44 ERA and a 71:23 K:BB over 81 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Blue Jays his next time out.

Wallner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 7-2 loss to Washington.

Wallner went yard in his first plate appearance Sunday, tagging Jake Irvin for a solo shot in the second inning. The homer snapped a streak of 11 straight hitless at-bats. Wallner has a dozen homers this season, and he's slashing .203/.300/.450 over 233 plate appearances.

Adams (1-1) was the pitcher of record in Sunday's 7-2 loss to Washington, striking out three while allowing five earned runs on five hits and two walks over 3.1 innings.

Adams ate some innings for the Twins during a bullpen game, throwing 83 pitches once opener Cole Sands exited the contest. Overall, Adams has an 8.03 ERA in 12.1 innings over four appearances in the majors this season. With Bailey Ober (hip) set to return from the injured list soon, Adams' stay with the Twins could soon be coming to an end.

Scherzer (1-1) yielded three runs on three hits over seven innings Sunday, striking out 11 and taking a loss against Detroit.

Scherzer had one hiccup in the outing, and it resulted in a three-run shot by Gleyber Torres in the third inning. Aside from that frame, Scherzer did not allow another baserunner in his best and longest start of 2025. He forced 15 whiffs on 96 pitches and produced his first double-digit strikeout performance since 2023. Scherzer had completed six innings just once in his first six outings this season. He's sporting a 4.89 ERA with a 39:8 K:BB across 35 innings. Scherzer is lined up to face the Royals at home next weekend.

Bichette went 5-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

Bichette had a terrific day at the plate and accounted for five of Toronto's 10 hits. The team didn't score until the ninth inning, which included a two-run single from Bichette. He has multiple hits in seven of his last 16 games, going 26-for-66 (.394) during that stretch. Bichette is now slashing .289/.329/.456 with 46 extra-base hits and 65 RBI through 103 games.

Lugo and the Royals agreed on a two-year, $46 million contract extension Sunday, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Lugo will now stick around Kansas City for at least two more years, while his deal will also include an option for a third season. The right-hander has been supremely effective over his first two seasons in Kansas City, combining to produce a 2.98 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with 280 strikeouts over 319.2 innings in 52 starts.

Flaherty (6-10) allowed five hits and a walk over six scoreless innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning a win over Toronto.

Flaherty was dominant Sunday and never faced much of a threat from the Blue Jays' lineup. He fired 70 of 106 pitches for strikes and forced 16 whiffs, including seven with his slider. It was his first win since June 8, and it snapped an ugly 0-4 skid over his previous seven outings. During that span, he produced a 7.79 ERA over 32.1 frames. Flaherty now owns a 4.51 ERA with a 137:44 K:BB through 109.2 innings. He's lined up to take the mound in Philadelphia next weekend.
