Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Nursing hamstring issue
Guerrero left Monday's game against the Pirates due to left hamstring tightness.
The severity of Guerrero's injury is not yet clear. He'll presumably be sent for additional scans to determine whether he can take the field Tuesday. Ty France would be in line for chances at first base if Guerrero is forced to miss more time.

Robert Stephenson RP | LAA
Angels' Robert Stephenson: Likely to log one more rehab outing
Stephenson (biceps) will likely make one more minor-league rehab appearance before being activated off the 60-day IL, per MLB.com
Angels interim manager Ray Montgomery said Sunday that Stephenson is "in a good spot" through two rehab outings. In those appearances, the veteran reliever has given up two runs (both in the first outing) on two hits while posting a 4:1 K:BB over two innings. Stephenson has pitched in only one game for the big-league club this season, but it appears he'll be back before the end of August to provide a boost to the Angels' bullpen.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 1B | TOR
Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Exits early Monday
Guerrero (undisclosed) was removed from Monday's contest against the Pirates in the fifth inning, Mitch Bannon of The Athletic reports.
Guerrero was replaced at the plate by Ty France with two outs in the top of the fifth inning. It's unclear why Guerrero exited the contest, but more information on his status will likely come in the near future. The first baseman will end his day having gone 0-for-2 from the plate with an RBI and a strikeout.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Dealing with ankle discomfort
Westburg left Monday's game against Boston due to right ankle discomfort, Andy Kostka of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Westburg is likely being taken for further testing after being forced from Monday's clash. Luis Vazquez entered the game in Westburg's place at third base Monday and could be in line for additional opportunities going forward if the 26-year-old is forced to miss more time, though Coby Mayo and Jeremiah Jackson would also factor into the mix for at-bats. The team believes Westburg's injury to be mild, per Kostka.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Yankees' Amed Rosario: Expected back Tuesday
The Yankees are expected to activate Rosario (collarbone) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
New York cleared a space on the 26-man active roster by optioning J.C. Escarra to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Monday, and the expectation is that Rosario's activation will be the corresponding transaction. If that happens, Rosario will have spent the minimum amount of time on the IL due to a left collarbone SC joint sprain. Rosario isn't an everyday player with the Yankees, but he gives the team valuable versatility with his ability to play multiple positions in both the infield and outfield.

Jordan Westburg 2B | BAL
Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Exits early Monday
Westburg left Monday's game against the Red Sox due to an apparent lower-body injury, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Westburg suffered the injury while scrambling back to first base after making a hard turn towards second, and after being checked out by the team trainer, it was determined that he couldn't continue. He'll be considered day-to-day until the club has more news on the severity of the injury.

Kyle Higashioka C | TEX
Rangers' Kyle Higashioka: Dealing with hamstring issue
Higashioka is out of the lineup for a third straight game Monday against the Royals due to a hamstring injury, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
Rangers manager Bruce Bochy has labeled Higashioka's injury as "very, very, very mild," so the expectation is that the catcher will avoid a stint on the injured list. Jonah Heim will handle catching duties Monday, but Higashioka could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday.

Edgar Quero C | CHW
White Sox's Edgar Quero: Resting Monday
Quero is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Atlanta.
Quero had started at either catcher or designated hitter in four of the White Sox's last five games, but he'll get a breather Monday as Chicago kicks off a three-game series in Atlanta. Kyle Teel will get the nod behind the plate, and Andrew Benintendi will get a day off from playing the outfield but will stay in the lineup at DH.

Nate Lowe DH | CIN
Red Sox's Nathaniel Lowe: Available, but not starting Monday
Lowe signed a one-year contract with the Red Sox on Monday but won't be included in the lineup for the team's series opener versus the Orioles.
The switch-hitting Abraham Toro will draw the start at first base while the Red Sox face off against lefty Trevor Rogers in the series opener, but the left-handed-hitting Lowe is likely to occupy the strong side of a platoon at the position with Toro or the right-handed-hitting Romy Gonzalez. Lowe was in the midst of a disappointing season with Washington before he was released over the weekend, but he had performed at a slightly above league-average level against right-handed pitching, slashing .235/.312/.412 with a 104 wRC+ over 337 plate appearances.
