Mike Yastrzemski RF | KC
Royals' Mike Yastrzemski: Strong start with new team
Yastrzemski went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI, a walk and two additional runs scored Wednesday's 12-1 win over the White Sox.
Yastrzemski belted his 14th homer of the year and his sixth since joining the Royals. The veteran outfielder has been a force atop Kansas City's lineup, slashing .260/.356/.603 with seven doubles, 12 RBI and 18 runs scored over 87 plate appearances with his new club. That said, Yastrzemski should continue to routinely sit against left-handed pitching, which limits his overall fantasy appeal.

David Festa SP | MIN
Twins' David Festa: Beginning assignment Thursday
Festa (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Shoulder inflammation has kept Festa out of commission since late July, but after throwing live BP on Saturday without any issues, he's been given the green light to return to game action. Given the duration of his absence, there's a good chance the 25-year-old will require multiple rehab starts before returning from the IL, though he should still be able to make it back before the end of the regular season.

Rob Refsnyder RF | BOS
Red Sox's Rob Refsnyder: Returning Thursday
The Red Sox are expected to reinstate Refsnyder (oblique) from the injured list Thursday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Refsnyder has been sidelined since mid-August with a strained left oblique, but he's in line to return to the active roster after spending slightly more than the minimum 10 days on the IL. He'll presumably reclaim his role as a short-side platoon player at DH or in the outfield upon returning, and he'll take the place of Nathaniel Lowe (paternity) on the active roster.

Nate Lowe 1B | BOS
Red Sox's Nathaniel Lowe: Heading to paternity list
The Red Sox will place Lowe on the paternity list Thursday, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.
Lowe will be permitted to miss up to three games while he spends time with his growing family. Rob Refsnyder (oblique) is expected to be activated off the injured list in a corresponding move to take Lowe's place on the 26-man roster. Meanwhile, Romy Gonzalez will likely benefit from a few extra starts at first base.

Jovani Moran RP | BOS
Red Sox's Jovani Moran: Bound for Worcester
The Red Sox are expected to option Moran to Triple-A Worcester on Thursday, Tim Healey of The Boston Globe reports.
Moran never appeared in a game after being recalled Tuesday, and he's now due to head back to Triple-A to clear a roster spot for Justin Slaten (shoulder), who will be activated from the 60-day injured list Thursday. Moran has given up three earned runs in four innings with the big club this season, and his 3.54 ERA at Worcester keeps him in play for another promotion in September.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | SEA
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Homers again Wednesday
Suarez went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer, a stolen base and a second run scored in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Padres.
After scoring the game's opening run on a Luke Raley double in the second inning, Suarez extended Seattle's lead to 4-0 with his 42nd homer this season, a 382-foot shot off Yu Darvish. Suarez has now homered in back-to-back games after going 0-for-8 in his previous three contests. Overall, he's slashing .237/.309/.549 with 104 RBI, 78 runs scored and four stolen bases across 537 plate appearances between the Mariners and Diamondbacks this year.

Ceddanne Rafaela CF | BOS
Red Sox's Ceddanne Rafaela: Smacks go-ahead homer
Rafaela went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run homer in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Orioles.
Rafaela provided the decisive blow in Wednesday's victory with his 392-foot blast off Keegan Akin to put the Red Sox ahead 3-2. It's the 15th homer for Rafaela this season, though his first since July 13 -- he'd gone just 24-for-128 (.188) with a .491 OPS in his past 35 games entering the day. Overall, Rafaela is slashing .249/.292/.428 with 72 runs scored, 55 RBI and 19 stolen bases across 482 plate appearances this season.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Red Sox's Aroldis Chapman: Dominant again for 26th save
Chapman earned the save in Wednesday's 3-2 win over Baltimore, striking out three in a perfect ninth inning.
Chapman continued his stellar run with a three-strikeout effort Wednesday. The southpaw's gone 11.2 innings without allowing a hit, issuing just four walks while striking out 14 in that span. The 37-year-old Chapman's converted 26 of 28 save chances this season while posting a stellar 1.04 ERA, a 0.67 WHIP and 74:14 K:BB across 52 innings.

Brayan Bello SP | BOS
Red Sox's Brayan Bello: Another strong outing
Bello allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk across 6.2 innings in a no-decision Wednesday against the Orioles. He struck out six.
It was another impressive performance from Bello, who's pitched to a 2.09 ERA over his last six starts (38.2 innings). The 26-year-old right-hander's lowered his ERA to 2.99 on the season with a 1.21 WHIP and 108:47 K:BB across 141.2 innings. Bello will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively lined up for next week at home against the Guardians.

Jason Foley RP | DET
Tigers' Jason Foley: Begins throwing again
Foley (shoulder) initiated a throwing progression Monday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Foley isn't in line to pitch again this season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right shoulder in May, but his ability to start playing catch again could put him in position to have something resembling a normal offseason. If Foley is free of any restrictions to begin spring training, he'll get the chance to compete for a role in the Detroit bullpen in 2026. After saving 28 games for the Tigers in 2024, Foley was optioned to Triple-A Toledo prior to this season following a rough showing in spring training. He had been pitching well at Toledo before straining his shoulder and requiring the season-ending procedure.
