Mateo started at shortstop during the first game of Monday's twin bill and went 0-for-3. He'll take a seat for the nightcap while Gunnar Henderson starts at shortstop and bats fifth.

Bogaerts went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 5-2 win over Texas.
Bogaerts has amped up a quest for the American League batting title. He currently owns an eight-game hit streak and has multiple hits in 10 of his 11 contests, batting .500 (22-for-44) during that run. Bogaerts (.3165) is locked in a duel with Minnesota's Luis Arraez (.3171) for best in the AL.

Red Sox's Trevor Story: Lifts Sox in win
Story went 3-for-4 with a double and a three-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Rangers.
Story erased a Boston deficit in the bottom of the first inning with his three-run blast, the 16th homer of the season for the second baseman. He's hit safely in six of seven games since coming off the injured list, going 13-for-28 with five extra-base hits, four RBI, three runs scored and two stolen bases.

Tigers' Javier Baez: Delivers two hits in loss
Baez (undisclosed) went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Royals.
Baez was lifted early from Saturday's contest with an apparent injury, though no more information was provided. It seems like the issue was minor, as the shortstop didn't miss any time and was able to produce in Sunday's game. Baez should be good to go moving forward, and he'll look to stay hot, as he's batting .345 over his last eight games.

Pirates' Oneil Cruz: Smacks 12th homer
Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Blue Jays.
Cruz took Ross Stripling yard in the fifth inning for his 12th homer of the season. Cruz is hitting .244 across his last 11 games, but he has six extra-base hits in that span -- including three home runs, two triples and a double. He has had long spells with little production thanks to a 37.6 percent strikeout rate, though Cruz also has a .218 ISO to go along with six steals across 242 plate appearances for the season.

Mateo went 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 5-0 loss to the Athletics.
Mateo became the second player in the majors with 30 steals this season, swiping second base after his fifth-inning walk. While he's been caught stealing eight times, Mateo continues to offer premium speed as the American League leader in steals. He's also posted 21 doubles and six triples through 124 contests this year. The shortstop has gone 5-for-22 (.227) with two walks in his last seven games, right in line with his season numbers. The 27-year-old is slashing .228/.277/.396 with 12 home runs, 45 RBI and 53 runs scored across 443 plate appearances.

Reds' Jose Barrero: Logs steal, scores twice
Barrero went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in a 10-0 win over the Rockies in the second game of Sunday's doubleheader.
Barrero went 0-for-4 in the first game of the doubleheader before finding more success in the second contest. He scored as part of both of the Reds' five-run rallies in the fourth and sixth innings. The shortstop has yet to hit safely in more than three straight games since his season debut Aug. 3. He's slashed just .165/.198/.237 with two home runs, two steals, eight RBI and eight runs scored through 97 plate appearances despite steady playing time.

Twins' Carlos Correa: Two-run shot in win
Correa went 2-for-5 with one double, one home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's victory over the White Sox.
Correa broke the game open with a two-run homer in the fifth inning against Lucas Giolito. Correa also doubled and came around to score in the ninth to provide some insurance for the Twins. The homer was the 27-year-old's 16th on the season, and the double was his 17th. He is now slashing .270/.352/.434 in 466 plate appearances. The shortstop entered Sunday in a small 0-for-9 skid across his last three games.

Giants' Brandon Crawford: Resting against lefty
Crawford is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Crawford will join fellow lefty-hitting lineup regulars Mike Yastrzemski and Joc Pederson on the bench for the series finale while lefty Ranger Suarez toes the rubber for Philadelphia. Thairo Estrada moves over from his usual post at the keystone to replace Crawford as the Giants' shortstop.

Angels' David Fletcher: Not in Sunday's lineup
Fletcher is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
Fletcher started the Angels' last 26 games and will receive a day off after he posted a .318/.348/.391 slash line with one home run, 10 RBI and 13 runs during that stretch. Luis Rengifo will shift to the keystone while Andrew Velazquez starts at shortstop Sunday.
