Orioles' Jorge Mateo: Draws back in Sunday
Mateo (ankle) will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Yankees, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Perdomo went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, a double and three total RBI in a 12-8 win against the Dodgers on Saturday.
Los Angeles jumped out to an early four-run lead before Perdomo brought Arizona within a run with his two-run shot to right field in the second inning. The shortstop later doubled in a score in the seventh to provide the Diamondbacks with a four-run cushion. The second-inning long ball was Perdomo's first of the season, and he leads Arizona with seven RBI in just six games. Perdomo is slashing an impressive .455/.625/1.000 through 17 plate appearances.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Dodgers' Miguel Rojas: Could return Sunday
Rojas (groin) may return to the lineup Sunday against Arizona, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
A groin injury has kept Rojas out of action since April 2, but he appears to be on the verge of a return. Per Ardaya, the plan is for Rojas to play Sunday and Tuesday while sitting out Monday. The veteran infielder has yet to get going this season, going 2-for-14 with a double and a run in the four games that he has played.

Royals' Bobby Witt: Swats homer in victory
Witt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over San Francisco.
Witt got the Royals on the scoreboard with his second homer of the season in the sixth inning off Giants starter Sean Manaea. The shortstop also struck out twice, however, and has struggled to a .161/.235/.355 slash line over the first nine games. It's just a matter of time until more hits start falling for Witt.

Orioles' Jorge Mateo: Dealing with ankle soreness
Mateo is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Yankees with ankle soreness, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Giants' Brandon Crawford: In lineup Saturday

J.P. Crawford SS | SEA
Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Timely hitting in win
Crawford went 2-for-4 with two RBI from a pair of run-scoring doubles and two runs in a win over the Guardians on Friday.
The veteran shortstop made plenty of noise out of the No. 9 spot in the order, belting RBI two-baggers in both the fifth and sixth innings to plate Cooper Hummel and Jarred Kelenic, respectively. Crawford opened the season with just one hit in his first 14 plate appearances, but he's now recorded a trio of two-hit efforts over the last four contests.
