Tovar is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Tovar started the previous 24 games but will sit Sunday while in the midst of a 3-for-19 slump. Aaron Schunk will take over at shortstop and bat ninth in the series finale versus San Diego.

Winn went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Dodgers.

Winn has homered in back-to-back games against the Dodgers, and he's up to four long balls over 14 contests in August. The shortstop is batting .259 (15-for-58) over that span. For the season, he's at a .277/.327/.423 slash line with 11 homers, 43 RBI, 59 runs scored and 10 stolen bases through 114 games.

Rocchio is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.

David Fry pinch hit for Rocchio in the eighth inning of Saturday's 2-1 loss against Milwaukee, with the latter finishing the contest 0-for-2. Daniel Schneemann will start at shorstop Sunday and bat eighth against Brewers right-hander Colin Rea.

Jimenez (knee) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

Jimenez injured his knee in the first inning of Saturday's contest against the Cubs and did not return following the rain delay. Ernie Clement and Spencer Horwitz will start at shortstop and second base, respectively, in Sunday's series finale.

Wilson (hamstring) started at designated hitter in Triple-A Las Vegas' loss to Oklahoma City on Saturday and went 2-for-3 with a run.

Wilson took the first three plate appearances of the game out of the leadoff spot before being lifted for a pinch hitter. The rookie shortstop may have a chance to play at least a partial game on defense in his next appearance for Las Vegas as he continues to test his previously injured hamstring.

Moore is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Moore struck out in all four at-bats in Saturday's 7-2 loss to Pittsburgh. Leo Rivas will start at shortstop and bat ninth against Pirates right-hander Jake Woodford.

Pena went 0-for-4 with a stolen base Saturday against the White Sox.

Pena saw his five-game hitting streak come to an end, but he still managed his 14th stolen base of the season to set a new career high. In contrast to 2023, he's been relatively efficient on the basepaths, going 14-for-19. That production has been just one part of Pena's strong season, as he's also maintaining a career-best .277 average across 500 plate appearances.

McKinstry went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Yankees.

McKinstry batted ninth and provided an unexpected lift, as he came into the contest batting just .188 for the season. The utility man is now a career .215 hitter across 355 MLB games, so he's pretty much settled in as a low-impact offensive player who offers value to his team through his defensive versatility. That keeps McKinstry's fantasy appeal fairly limited.

Newman started at second base and went 2-for-4 in Saturday's 6-1 loss to Tampa Bay.

Newman has seen a spike in playing time over the past week while covering for injured second baseman Ketel Marte, who returned from an ankle injury Saturday as the designated hitter. Marte is expected to be brought back slowly, and Newman's presence in starting lineups could come to an end Sunday or shortly thereafter.

Lindor went 2-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Marlins.

He led off the game by driving a fastball from Max Meyer over the wall in right-center field, giving Luis Severino all the run support he would need as the right-hander pitched a shutout. Lindor extended his hitting streak to 11 games in the process, and he's reached base safely in every contest so far in August, slashing .338/.386/.508 with two homers, two steals, eight RBI and 12 runs in 15 games. The shortstop needs just one more home run and one more stolen base to record his third career 25-25 campaign.
