Bichette went 2-for-4 with a walk, two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Saturday's 7-0 win over the A's.

The shortstop is heating up again, collecting four doubles among his seven hits over the last six games. Bichette's sluggish start to the season is fading in the rearview mirror -- over his last 24 contests, he's batting .302 (29-for-96) with two homers, eight doubles, eight runs and 14 RBI.

  • Adael Amador SS | COL

Rockies' Adael Amador: Set for MLB debut

Amador will be recalled from Double-A Hartford on Sunday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

With Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) on his way to the 10-day injured list, Amador will get his first crack at big-league action. The 21-year-old hasn't made it past Double-A yet and although he owns a .194 batting average this season at Hartford, Amador is 14-for-39 (.359) with six home runs and six stolen bases in his last nine games. He figures to share playing time with Alan Trejo at second base.

  • J.P. Crawford SS | SEA

Mariners' J.P. Crawford: Hits leadoff homer

Crawford went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's loss to the Royals.

The shortstop got the scoring started on the first pitch of the game with his 11th career leadoff homer. He later added another RBI on a single in the fifth, giving him his third multi-RBI game of the season. Crawford now has five home runs this season and three since coming off the IL on May 20. The 29-year-old is working on a five-game hitting streak, which is tied for his longest of the season.

  • Brayan Rocchio SS | CLE

Guardians' Brayan Rocchio: Getting breather Saturday

Rocchio isn't in the Guardians' lineup Saturday versus the Marlins.

Rocchio will get a day off Saturday after hitting the first home run of his MLB career during Friday's loss. Daniel Schneemann will take over at shortstop while batting ninth.

  • Brett Wisely 2B | ATL

Giants' Brett Wisely: Sitting versus southpaw

Wisely isn't in the Giants' lineup for Saturday's game against Texas.

With lefty Andrew Heaney set to toe the slab for the Rangers, the lefty-hitting Wisely will step out of the lineup. Tyler Fitzgerald will take over at shortstop, batting ninth.

  • Adael Amador SS | COL

Rockies' Adael Amador: Joining taxi squad

Amador joined the Rockies in St. Louis on Saturday, though the team has yet to formally call him up from Double-A Hartford, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Amador sports a .666 OPS through 208 plate appearances this season with Hartford, but he has slashed .326/.388/.767 with six homers and 14 RBI while also stealing six bases across his last 10 games. With the Rockies waiting to see if Brendan Rodgers (hamstring) will require a trip to the injured list, Amador will remain on the club's taxi squad for the time being. He would likely return to Double-A if Rodgers is able to make a quick recovery.

  • Jose Caballero 2B | NYY

    Rays' Jose Caballero: Sitting Saturday

Caballero is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Caballero will take a seat Saturday after going 1-for-4 with a double in the series opener Friday. Taylor Walls will start at shortstop Saturday and bat seventh against Orioles right-hander Kyle Bradish.

  • Corey Seager SS | TEX

Rangers' Corey Seager: Sitting again Saturday

Seager (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Giants.

Seager will sit for a second straight game after injuring his left hamstring Wednesday against the Tigers. He will be available to pinch hit again Saturday, per Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com. Josh Smith will shift over to shortstop while Ezequiel Duran gets the start at third base against Giants right-hander Spencer Howard.

  • Ryan Bliss SS | SEA

Mariners' Ryan Bliss: Knocks first career homer

Bliss went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Royals on Friday.

The rookie had made minimal impact at the plate at the big-league level thus far until Friday's blast, a 421-foot shot to left center with Victor Robles aboard to close out the Mariners' seven-run first inning. Bliss has now hit safely in three of his last five games, including two straight, after opening his major-league career by going 0-for-7 in his first three contests. Meanwhile, the homer marked his first extra-base hit since his May 27 debut.

  • David Hamilton SS | MIL

Red Sox's David Hamilton: Swipes two bags off bench

Hamilton entered Friday's game after Tyler O'Neill (knee) was removed and went 0-for-3 with two steals in a 7-2 loss to the White Sox.

After O'Neill's removal, the Red Sox made several adjustments, including Hamilton entering at shortstop and Ceddanne Rafaela moving to the outfield. Hamilton now has 11 steals for the season, second on the team. The Red Sox are dealing with several outfield injuries -- O'Neill, Wilyer Abreu (ankle) and Masataka Yoshida (thumb) -- and may not be able to get by with Rafaela at shortstop in the short term. In that event, Hamilton could be a regular at short.
