Mondesi is not in the lineup Saturday against the Astros.

Mondesi will sit for the first time this season, as the Royals will go with Christian Colon at second base Saturday. After a strong spring training, Mondesi has struggled early on, going just 2-for-14 at the plate with four strikeouts. Perhaps more concerning from a fantasy perspective, however, is the fact that the 21-year-old appears locked into the ninth spot in the batting order, at least for the foreseeable future.

Gordon is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

After starting the first four games of the season, Gordon will cede his second base duties to Miguel Rojas on Saturday. The speedster is just 3-for-18 to start the year, though he has swiped two bases. He'll likely return to the top of the lineup card for Sunday's contest.

Owings is playing shortstop and batting leadoff for Saturday's game against the Indians.

After getting the day off Friday, Owings is back in the Diamondbacks' lineup and leading off. The 25-year-old is off to a nice start offensively this season, going 5-for-16 (.313) with two stolen bases across four games.

Baez (head) is in the lineup Saturday versus the Brewers.

Baez was removed from Friday's game following an outfield collision with Jason Heyward, but he emerged with only a bruised eye and did not exhibit concussion symptoms. As a result, the second baseman will get the start at his usual position, and he'll bat seventh in the order against Milwaukee's Tommy Milone.

Bogaerts (personal) will return to the Red Sox lineup Monday for the series finale against Detroit, Brian MacPherson of The Providence Journal reports.

It's the earliest date Bogaerts is able to return from bereavement leave, and an appearance the Red Sox are anxiously awaiting with Hanley Ramirez sidelined by illness. The 2016 All-Star shortstop will likely get an interesting pitching matchup upon his return -- fireballer Justin Verlander. Expect Marco Hernandez to get sent back to Triple-A Pawtucket upon Bogaerts' return.

Lindor went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

A night after going deep twice against Texas, Lindor wasted no time starting the party again Friday. His first-inning blast gave him three bombs in three straight at-bats. Lindor is the first Indians player to go yard three times in the season's first four games since Grady Sizemore in 2007.

Gordon went 1-for-5 with a run scored and his second stolen base of the season in Friday's win over the Mets.

He's only got three hits in his first 18 at-bats, but Gordon hasn't been shy when he has reached base. The 28-year-old speedster has averaged 61 steals in his last two full seasons, and there's no reason to think he'll slow down in 2017.

Turner went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Friday's win over the Phillies.

The 23-year-old shortstop has stumbled out of the gate, going 2-for-18 through four games and failing to cross the plate despite the fact that he's been hitting leadoff for a team producing five runs a game. Turner has stolen two bases, though -- not bad for a guy who's only reached base twice -- so fantasy owners who bought into his preseason hype should be patient when it comes to getting a return on their investment.

Baez did not have to go through the concussion protocol for the injury he sustained in an outfield collision with Jason Heyward on Friday, Jesse Rogers of ESPN Chicago reports.

Baez was diagnosed with a left eye contusion and is optimistic he will be able to play Saturday against the Brewers. We'll see if the Cubs play it safe with him and give him an off day or use him off the bench, but after a collision that looked capable of producing a major head injury, it looks like Baez has escaped the worst.

It looked like much worse was possible after Baez took a scary blow to the head in the collision. Concussion symptoms can sometimes take more than 24 hours to make themselves apparent, so Baez may not be out of the woods yet, but the fact that nothing worse than a shiner has shown up in the immediate aftermath is a good sign. We'll continue to monitor his status, but for now, it's looking like Baez might be able to make a quick recovery.
