Crawford is hitting just .086 with a .343 OPS through his first 10 games at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

It's a really bad start for the Phillies' top prospect, but this is also an extremely small sample size. Crawford's walk rate is solid, but he's striking out 30 percent of the time, which is more than double his career average and may indicate that he's pressing at the plate. The Phillies have no need to rush Crawford to the majors, so they'll give him plenty of time to figure things out in Triple-A.

Story went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Giants.

It's been night and day for Story compared to his April in 2016. His three-strikeout clunker Sunday moves him down to a slash line of .114/.264/.250 in 53 plate appearances. It's still early, and Story has been rather streaky in his young career, but he'll need to reduce his lofty 37.7 percent strikeout rate in order to turn things around. The 24-year-old is showing why he was somewhat of a risky early-round pick in drafts. There's plenty of time for him to turn it around, but now would be a good time to see if his owner is panicking.

Manager A.J. Hinch said he expects Correa (hand) to play Monday against the Angels, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa was scheduled to sit out Sunday's series finale against the Athletics while tending to the bruised hand, but after the game was postponed due to rain, the shortstop didn't actually miss out on any action. Assuming Correa experiences no setbacks with the hand during batting practice Monday, look for him to face no restrictions during the upcoming week, making him a fairly safe play in season-long lineups.

Anderson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Twins, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The right-handed Anderson's absence from the lineup is somewhat surprising with manager Rick Renteria keeping left-handed bats Cody Asche and Omar Narvaez out of the lineup against Twins southpaw Hector Santiago. Perhaps, however, the White Sox skipper just wanted to give the struggling young shortstop a mental break. Anderson has started every game this season and has yet to get going, churning out just six hits in 43 at-bats. Leury Garcia will relieve Anderson both at shortstop and at the top of the order in the series finale.

Correa (hand) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Athletics, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa was fortunate to avoid any structural damage to his right hand after being struck by a pitch Saturday in the ninth inning, but he came away with a contusion that will apparently prevent him from swinging the bat in the series finale. Rain is threatening the Oakland area and could eventually result in Sunday's scheduled contest getting postponed, but if the game is played, Alex Bregman will slide over to shortstop in place of Correa, while Marwin Gonzalez enters the lineup at third base.

Cordoba got another start in left field Saturday, going 1-for-3 with a walk in a 4-2 loss to Atlanta.

The Rule 5 draft pick was suspected to have made the Opening Day roster solely for management to retain his rights, but that may not be entirely true. The 21-year-old utility man earned two starts in left field spelling Travis Jankowski early on. He owns a .364 batting average in those 12 plate appearances, but none of his hits have gone for extra bases. Cordoba should continue to see a start or two a week, but he won't gain standard league fantasy value until an injury or lack of production opens up a regular role for him.

Mondesi is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels.

Mondesi received a vote of confidence from general manager Dayton Moore on Friday but continues to slump heavily, going hitless in three straight games to bring his average down to .125. He needs to show signs of life soon, or manager Ned Yost will be forced to consider awarding more starts to Christian Colon, who will be taking over at the keystone Sunday afternoon.

Turner (hamstring) believes he's ahead of schedule and should be ready to come off the DL when first eligible Wednesday, MLB.com's Jamal Collier reports.

Turner was seen running sprints in advance of Sunday's game and later proceeded to take batting practice and perform fielding drills for the second day in a row. He'll likely be active in pregame warmups early in the week, and although the team hasn't confirmed it, a Wednesday return is looking more and more likely.

Turner (hamstring) was spotted running sprints in advance of Sunday's matchup against the Phillies, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.

It's another good sign for Turner, who was able to take batting practice and perform defensive drills before Saturday's game. The team has yet to commit to a Wednesday activation, but it seems as if Turner could be back in action as soon as he's eligible.

Ahmed went 2-for-4 with his first home run of the season and four RBI in an 8-4 loss to the Dodgers on Saturday.

Ahmed's three-run homer in the second inning gave the Diamondbacks a brief lead, but the Dodgers would even the score in the bottom half of the inning before ultimately pulling away later in the contest. The shortstop has historically brought more value at the field than at the dish, but he's off to a good start offensively to begin 2017, going 6-for-17 while appearing in seven games. Unfortunately for Ahmed, the team's primary shortstop, Chris Owings, has been hot in his own right to begin the season, so Ahmed doesn't have a clear path to everyday at-bats.
