Rojas (thumb) was placed on the 60-day disabled list Tuesday, Joe Capozzi of The Palm Beach Post reports.
With the news coming that Rojas would be in a cast for two months, a trip to the 60-day DL seemed inevitable. With the added roster flexibility, the Marlins were able to purchase the contract of Tyler Moore from Triple-A New Orleans. More information on Rojas' status should come forth as he progresses in his recovery program.
