Wendle went a combined 4-for-7 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run in Saturday's doubleheader versus the Orioles.

The versatile infielder continues to make his mark, with his average sitting right on .300 after his successful Saturday. Wendle has now exceeded his previous career high of 104 major-league plate appearances that he'd logged with the Athletics back in 2016, and he appears set for solid playing time over the balance of the season given the superior production he's churned out thus far.

Arcia is not in the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.

After hitting a respectable .277 during his first full season in the majors in 2017, Arcia is currently slashing an abysmal .217/.262/.296 through his first 35 games this year. He continues to display plus defense at shortstop, but the Brewers are surely frustrated by his overall lack of production at the plate. He'll get the day off with Tyler Saladino taking over at short.

After batting leadoff Saturday, Baez is batting fifth and starting at second base in Sunday's series finale against the White Sox.

Baez did well as the leadoff hitter, going 2-for-5 with two runs scored, but manager Joe Maddon will mix things up Sunday, getting Ben Zobrist back in there atop the order. Baez has hit no matter where he's been placed in the lineup, as he comes into Sunday's game with a .283/.320/.623 slash line and 10 home runs.

Story went 3-for-4 with a walk, a double, two home runs and four RBI in Saturday's win over the Brewers.

He accounted for all of the scoring in this one with three extra-base hits off Brewers starter Brent Suter. Story is now up to 10 home runs and ranks third in the National League with 32 RBI, behind Javier Baez and A.J. Pollock. The 25-year-old has also already matched last year's stolen-base total with seven. While the strikeouts remain high, Story is more than making up for the batting-average drain with what he's doing in the counting stats.

Lindor went 4-for-4 with two home runs, two doubles, four runs scored and two RBI in Saturday's win over the Royals.

Lindor extended his hitting streak to 13 games with his first-inning double off Jakob Junis, a stretch during which he's gone a remarkable 27-for-58 (.465) with eight homers, 18 runs, 13 RBI and a 5:8 BB:K. He added another double and a homer of Junis before capping his four-hit day with a long ball of Kevin McCarthy. Saturday's performance boosted Lindor's average to a season-high .311.

Correa went 1-for-2 with a walk and a two-run homer in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Rangers.

The shortstop has been stuck in a rut lately, hitting .194 (7-for-36) since the calendar flipped to May, but Correa does have two homers, six RBI and five runs in 10 games this month. His overall .295/.380/.511 slash line remains strong, but the 23-year-old showed in 2017 that his ceiling is much higher than that.

Seager (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Saturday.

The move has no effect on Seager's timeline, as he's already out for the year after undergoing Tommy John surgery. By clearing a spot on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers were able to select the contract of reliever Pat Venditte.

Diaz (ankle) has resumed throwing and will begin hitting next week, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Diaz was placed on the disabled list earlier this week after leaving Sunday's contest in Tampa Bay due to a left ankle sprain. After taking a few days off to rest, Diaz is back on the field and is set to participate in some running and hitting drills early next week. The Blue Jays have yet to describe a specific timetable for his return, but he will be eligible to come off the DL on Friday.

Arcia went 2-for-3 with two RBI, a run, a stolen base and two walks in Friday's victory over the Rockies.

Arcia got on base just three times in the six games prior to Friday's, but he was able to better that number in just one night, reaching first base four times for the first time this season. Arcia owns just a .577 OPS for the season, but he has been far better so far in May, hitting .333/.400/.370 in 30 plate appearances over nine games.

Baez will bat atop the order and play third base versus the White Sox on Saturday.

Baez will lead off for the the first time this season and the seventh time in his career. He marks the sixth different player to serve out of the top spot for the Cubs over the first seven weeks of the year. Over 34 games, he's slashing .278/.317/.617 with 10 home runs and 34 RBI.
