Arcia went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Friday's 11-7 loss to the Reds.

The long ball ended a 16-game power drought for Arcia, during which he slashed a miserable .143/.183/.196. The slump dragged his line on the season down to .240/.304/.391, but the shortstop has already matched last year's RBI total with 30 in 44 fewer games, and his nine homers puts him on pace to top the career-high 15 he launched in 2017.

Crawford went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI singles and a run scored in Friday's 10-9 win over the Orioles.

Crawford knocked in outfielder Mallex Smith with both of his run-scoring hits, and also scored on a Domingo Santana double in the third inning. The three-hit night brings Crawford to a slash line of .286/.375/.418 in 25 games this season. The shortstop has hit .300 with seven RBI and five runs scored in eight games since his return from an ankle injury.

Seager (hamstring) is expected to begin a rehab assignment by the All-Star break, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

The 25-year-old shortstop has been spotted playing light catch on the field in the past week, and the Dodgers are confident that both Seager and A.J. Pollock (elbow) will begin a rehab stint by the break.

Ahmed (hand) is starting at shortstop and batting seventh Friday against the Giants.

Ahmed left Thursday's game with a bruised left hand, but he won't be forced to miss any additional time because of the injury. He's 5-for-17 with three RBI over his last five contests.

Gordon isn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game against Baltimore, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Gordon is in line for the night off with a southpaw scheduled to pitch for the visiting Orioles. Dylan Moore draws the start at the keystone and will bat eighth in Gordon's stead.

Crawford went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles, four RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 9-8 loss to the Dodgers.

Crawford was able to get to the Dodgers' bullpen after left-handed opener Julio Urias departed from the contest, capping his night off with a bases-clearing triple in the seventh frame. The shortstop has looked like vintage 2015-18 Crawford over his past three games, contributing three doubles and six RBI over that span. Unfortunately, that 's where the good times end, as his declining bat is slashing an unsightly .212/.281/.331 despite him logging nearly a half season of at-bats.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a stolen base in a win over the Orioles on Thursday.

The promising shortstop delivered out of the No. 2 hole in the lineup, recording his first steal of the season in the process. The double also marked Crawford's first extra-base hit since his first game back off the injured list last Friday. Factoring in Thursday's production, Crawford is slashing a solid .264/.354/.402 across 99 plate appearances this season.

Arcia went 1-for-3 in Thursday's loss to the Reds.

Arcia did not do anything particularly notable in the box score Thursday, but the hit did snap a five-game streak over which he did not tally even one base knock. Arcia provided some unexpected offense over the season's first two months and owned a .766 OPS as recently as June 1, but an extended slump at the plate has knocked that mark down to .681. Despite the struggles, Arcia's skills in the field have kept him in the lineup every day this month, up to this point.

Bichette went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and five RBI for Triple-A Buffalo on Thursday.

The 21-year-old hasn't missed a beat since coming off the minor-league IL, slashing .342/.432/.605 through 10 games with four doubles, two homers, two steals, eight runs and eight RBI. If Bichette stays healthy and keeps tormenting International League pitchers, there's still a chance he could join the rest of the Jays' legacy prospect cohort -- Vlad Guerrero Jr., Cavan Biggio and Lourdes Gurriel -- in the majors before the end of the season.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a triple, two runs and two RBI in the Cubs' 7-4 win over the Mets on Thursday.

It was the 18th long ball of the year for Baez, who touched up Robert Gsellman with a seventh-inning solo blast after hitting his third triple of the season earlier in the game. The 26-year-old had hit a bit of a lull in June, as he was hitting just .229 for the month coming into this game, but he still sports a .286/.324/.551 slash line through 294 at-bats.
