Seager went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Mariners.

Seager crossed the plate on a heads-up play in the fifth inning when Logan Gilbert threw a wild pitch, then again in the seventh on an Adolis Garcia single. Seager has nine hits in his last six games, improving his batting average from .248 to .254 in the process. He has three multi-hit games during that span.

Crawford went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Rangers.

Crawford reached home on a Sam Haggerty single in the second inning, then again on an error in the sixth inning. He also picked up two hits in Sunday's game, his second two-hit game in a row. The shortstop has been inconsistent this month, going 9-for-42, resulting in a .214 batting average. Perhaps Crawford's last two games are a sign that his .259 season batting average will continue to improve.

Allen went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Astros.

Allen launched a solo shot in the top of the eighth inning Sunday. It was his second home run of the year and his first since June 26. The second baseman has struggled for consistency this season, but is now in the midst of a three game hit streak and has gone 8-for-29 this month for a .276 batting average. Allen has improved his season batting average from .194 to .212 in his last 10 games.

Rojas went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Atlanta.

Rojas drove in the Marlins' only run of the game in the fourth inning and later stole second base after singling in the ninth. Since his last multi-hit game July 29, he went 6-for-44 (.136) over a 12-game span. The 33-year-old is slashing .235/.288/.332 with 29 RBI, nine steals and 21 extra-base hits through 102 games.

Abrams will be recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Monday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

The 21-year-old was dealt from the Padres to the Nationals in early August as part of the trade that sent Juan Soto and Josh Bell to San Diego, and Abrams will join the major-league club Monday since Luis Garcia (groin) will require a trip to the injured list. Abrams appeared in 46 big-league games with the Padres earlier in the season, and he slashed .232/.285/.320 with two homers, 16 runs, 11 RBI and a stolen base. He should have plenty of chances to earn at-bats while Garcia is sidelined.

Diaz is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against Oakland.

Diaz has an .806 OPS in August but will sit for the second consecutive game Sunday. The 32-year-old may not be an everyday player down the stretch, but he should still see regular action, especially in left field, with Michael Brantley (shoulder) out for the season. Chas McCormick will start in left and bat seventh in the series finale versus the A's.

Story (wrist) will travel with the Red Sox for the series in Pittsburgh beginning Tuesday.

Story has been swinging the bat regularly over the last week, and the plan calls for him to take batting practice in Pittsburgh. That the club is bringing him on the road suggests he could be activated at some point during the week, either in Pittsburgh or later in Baltimore.

Bichette is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.

Bichette has started in all but two games this season, and Sunday will be the first time his absence isn't directly related to an injury. Santiago Espinal will take over at shortstop Sunday for Toronto.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an intentional walk in a 7-4 victory over the Mariners on Saturday.

Seager belted his 26th home run of the season on an 0-1 pitch from Marco Gonzales for his 59th RBI and 61st run scored. The home-run total matches his career high from 2016. Seager was hitting .232 through the end of May, but his average is creeping higher as the season matures. The 28-year-old shortstop is now slashing .252/.331/.475 on the year and has an .805 OPS.

Correa went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, a sacrifice fly and three walks in Saturday's 5-3 extra-innings loss to the Angels.

Correa did something with every plate appearance, and even his lone out of the contest led to the Twins' second run. Through 11 games in August, he's gone 10-for-37 (.270) with an 8:7 BB:K. The shortstop is up to 14 homers, 39 RBI, 48 runs scored, 15 doubles and a .268/.346/.438 slash line through 88 games this year as a fixture in the No. 2 spot in the order.
