Adames went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and an RBI double in a 7-6 victory over the Yankees on Friday.

Adames helped power the Brewers to victory with his 29th home run of the season and a ground-rule double that netted him his 89th RBI. Adames' average has been down considerably from his .262 mark last season, but he has more than made up for it by hitting for power. The 27-year-old shortstop is on the precipice of achieving his first 30-homer season.

Berti isn't starting Saturday against Washington.

Berti started the last three games and went 0-for-12 with a walk and three strikeouts. Jerar Encarnacion will take over in left field and bat eighth.

Barrero isn't starting the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Barrero's playing time has declined recently, and he'll head to the bench for the fourth time in the last five games. Kyle Farmer is starting at shortstop and batting third during Saturday's matinee.

Pena went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Athletics.

Pena took Adrian Martinez deep in the fifth inning to tally his 18th homer of the season. He has at least one hit in 13 of his last 16 games while maintaining a .290 average with nine runs scored in that span. Overall, Pena has slowed considerably since his hot start to the season and has a 95 wRC+ and .300 wOBA across 497 plate appearances as a result.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Friday's 4-3 win over the Rays.

Seager didn't allow the Rangers to waste a two-on, two-out situation in the fourth, delivering both runners with a double. He hasn't hit well during September, batting .169, but he's had key hits and knocked in nine runs over 14 games this month. For the season, Seager has a .918 OPS with runners in scoring position.
