Ahmed grounded out and struck out swinging twice across three at-bats Sunday in the Diamondbacks' 3-1 win over the Astros.

Ahmed has now gone 0-for-18 over his past five games, an untimely development for fantasy owners that may have picked up the shortstop following a 12-for-31 stretch that included six extra-base hits in an eight-game span. The crests and troughs in Ahmed's production this season have made him a frustrating player to roster, but his fantasy ceiling is still unquestionably higher than in past seasons due to his increased willingness to sell out for power. He has already smashed five home runs and seven doubles in 2018, leaving him one shy of matching the totals he posted in both categories a season ago.

Swanson (wrist) won't travel with the Braves during the team's seven-game, three-city road trip that runs Tuesday through May 14, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Swanson is eligible to come off the 10-day disabled list ahead of Sunday's series finale in Miami, but he'll be sidelined for more than the minimum amount of time with the Braves having yet to release a timetable for his return. While his teammates are on the road this week, Swanson will remain in Atlanta to receive further treatment for his inflamed left wrist. Swanson said Sunday that he hasn't required an injection and believes he'll be able to address the injury solely through rest and regular checkups with the Atlanta training staff. The Braves should have a better idea regarding a return date for Swanson once he's able to resume baseball activities.

Rojas is out of the lineup Sunday against the Reds.

Rojas has been Miami's starting shortstop for each of the last 10 games, and is 7-for-36 (.194) over that span. He's in the lineup more for his defense than his bat, owning just a .654 OPS this season (which wouldn't even be a career low). He'll head to the bench Sunday, however, giving way to Yadiel Rivera.

Turner is back in the starting lineup Sunday against the Phillies, batting second in the order and getting the nod at shortstop.

Turner received a rare day off Saturday, but drew a walk during a pinch-hit appearance, proving his absence was nothing physical. He'll be right back in his regular role for this one, however, hitting out of the two spot for the fifth time in the last six games.

Seager (elbow) had successful Tommy John surgery Friday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Seager is expected to make a full recovery but won't get to prove it until next year, as he's already been ruled out for the season. Chris Taylor should receive the majority of starts at shortstop for the remainder of the season.

Baez went 1-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's loss to the Cardinals.

Baez has been locked in at the plate this season, as he now has eight home runs to go along with a .283 average and .959 OPS. His career high in home runs is 23, set a season ago, and the 25-year-old could definitely surpass that mark if he keeps this up.

Arcia is not in the lineup Saturday against the Pirates.

Arcia is hitting just .229/.260/.323 through his first 100 plate appearances. There doesn't appear to be an immediate threat to his job, though, as replacement Eric Sogard is hitting just .107/.167/.161.

Turner is out of the lineup against the Phillies on Saturday.

Turner will retreat to the bench for the first time this season for a scheduled off day. With Anthony Rendon (toe) back from the disabled list, manager Davey Martinez elected to take advantage of having an extra body in the infield and placed Wilmer Difo at shortstop in Turner's stead. Expect Turner back in the lineup for Sunday's series finale.

Camargo started at shortstop in Friday's loss to the Giants, going 1-for-2 with two walks.

Dansby Swanson (wrist) hit the disabled list Friday, which pushes Camargo into the starting nine for the Braves. The switch hitter has a .280/.400/.680 with two homers in 30 plate appearances to begin the season, and while he likely won't maintain that pace, he should be able to provide some short-term fantasy value while Swanson is sidelined.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Friday's loss to the Cardinals.

Baez got a start at shortstop and batted eighth, as Ben Zobrist slid in at second base and batted leadoff. Baez primarily batted eighth early in the season, though he recently had gotten some run in the No. 2 hole. Cubs manager Joe Maddon is known for tinkering with his lineups, so the young infielder will likely move around more moving forward. He's been productive no matter where he's hit, posting a .287/.336/.620 slash line to this point.
