Adalberto Mondesi SS | BOS
Royals' Adalberto Mondesi: Records 15th steal
Mondesi went 0-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-3 loss to Minnesota.
The 26-year-old ended 2021 with 15 steals in 16 attempts in just 35 games. Mondesi battled oblique and hamstring issues for much of the season, prompting a move to third base for much of September. He was held without a hit in six of his last 10 games, dropping his season slash line to .230/.271/.452 with six home runs, 17 RBI, 19 runs scored, a triple and eight doubles across 136 plate appearances. Mondesi may continue to log time at third base in 2022. He could also receive regular rest to help alleviate some of the toll of playing the field, although fantasy managers will obviously take notice of his speed when he's in the lineup.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Rays' Joey Wendle: Adds steal in loss
Wendle went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 1-0 loss to the Yankees.
The infielder contributed his first steal since Sept. 10, and he ended the regular season 8-for-14 on stolen-base attempts. Wendle went 1-for-18 with 10 strikeouts in his last six games of the season. He's posted a .265/.319/.422 slash line, 11 home runs, 54 RBI and 73 runs scored across 501 plate appearances. He'll likely see a strong-side platoon role at third base in the postseason, with Yandy Diaz handling the hot corner versus southpaws.

Yu Chang SS | TB
Indians' Yu Chang: Smacks homer in win
Chang went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-0 win over Texas.
The infielder showed some promise to end 2021, batting .310 (13-for-42) across his last 12 games. Chang wasn't able to secure an everyday role this year, slashing .228/.267/.426 with nine homers, one stolen base, 39 RBI and 32 runs scored in 251 plate appearances. His defensive versatility has done more to keep him on the big club's radar than his bat through his first three major-league seasons.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Cranks home run No. 26
Correa went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Athletics.

The 26-year-old slashed .279/.366/.485 with 26 homers, 92 RBI and 104 runs scored in 640 plate appearances during the regular season.

Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Clubs 29th homer
Bichette went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 10-1 win over the Orioles.
The shortstop blasted his 29th homer of the season in the fifth inning off Konner Wade, one of five Toronto long balls on the day. Bichette has hit safely in seven straight games, going 13-for-27 (.481) over that stretch with four doubles, three home runs, two steals, four RBI and six runs.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Out of Saturday's lineup
Correa isn't starting Saturday's game against the Athletics, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Correa will head to the bench after he went 4-for-12 with a homer, three runs, three RBI and two walks across the last four games. Aledmys Diaz will take his place at shortstop and bat seventh.

Andrew Velazquez SS | TEX
Yankees' Andrew Velazquez: Called up Saturday
Velazquez was recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Velazquez was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Sept. 12, and he hit .167 with two doubles, three RBI, two runs and three stolen bases across seven minor-league appearances since then. He should serve mainly as depth to close out the regular season but is starting at shortstop and batting ninth in Saturday's game against the Rays.

Wander Franco SS | TB
Rays' Wander Franco: Plates two in loss
Franco went 1-for-5 with a two-run single in a win over the Yankees on Friday.
One night after seeing his on-base streak come to a halt at 43 games, Franco reached safely in his final at-bat, extending the Rays' lead to 4-1 in the top of the ninth with a timely knock. The 20-year-old phenom appears fully prepared to thrive in the postseason spotlight if his body of work over his first 68 big-league games (.284/.346/.465 slash line) is any indication.
