Eovaldi (3-3) allowed four runs on four hits and four walks while striking out six over three innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mariners.

Eovaldi needed 75 pitches (46 strikes) to get through three innings, and the Rangers weren't able to get him off the hook for the loss. It's possible the Rangers are still taking it easy on him after a groin injury sidelined him for much of May. Eovaldi has allowed nine runs over 18.2 innings across four starts since he returned from the injured list. He's at a 3.15 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 64:24 K:BB through 60 innings over 11 starts this season. He's projected for a tough home matchup versus the Royals in his next start.

Morton (4-3) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over six innings.

Morton had his swing-and-miss stuff working, racking up 22 whiffs among his 105 pitches. The veteran hurler fell behind by a run in the first inning but yielded only two hits while holding the Rays scoreless thereafter. This was a nice bounce-back for Morton after he surrendered five runs (four earned) over five innings against Washington in his previous start. Saturday's victory was his first since May 10, and it was just his second quality start across six outings during that span.

Kirby (6-5) allowed an unearned run on three hits and two walks while striking out six over six innings to earn the win Saturday over the Rangers.

This was Kirby's first time issuing multiple walks since his season debut, as he continues to have some of the best control in the majors. The right-hander has allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last four starts after a pair of five-run outings in mid-May. He's now at a 3.54 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 84:9 K:BB over 86.1 innings through 15 starts this year. Kirby is projected to make his next start at Miami in a highly favorable matchup.

Arrighetti (3-6) allowed seven runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over 1.1 innings to take the loss versus the Tigers on Saturday.

Arrighetti was moved up a day when Justin Verlander (neck) was scratched from his scheduled start. The result was disastrous for the Astros, as Arrighetti gave up three home runs in his shortest outing of the season, though the Astros came into Saturday with a well-rested bullpen. The rookie right-hander has not made a good impression in the majors this year with a 6.37 ERA, 1.71 WHIP and 63:31 K:BB over 53.2 innings through 12 starts. With the Astros' rotation already thin, it's likely Arrighetti sticks around for his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to be a tough home matchup versus the Orioles.

Flaherty (4-4) earned the win Saturday over the Astros, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out six over five scoreless innings.

Flaherty was skipped once through the rotation while he dealt with a back injury, which he received an injection for Monday. He was good in his return, though he was limited to 73 pitches (46 strikes), as the Tigers likely didn't want to risk pushing him too hard after they built up a 10-0 lead. Flaherty is at a 3.01 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 100:11 K:BB through 77.2 innings over 13 starts this season. Assuming he doesn't aggravate the back injury, he is tentatively scheduled to make his next start at home in a favorable matchup versus the White Sox.

Winn did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Angels, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

Winn surrendered a solo home run to Mickey Moniak in the second inning then allowed a game-tying two-run homer to Logan O'Hoppe in the sixth. While he stumbled late, Winn registered 17 swinging strikes on 91 pitches and logged his first quality start since May 28. On the season, Winn now owns a 6.66 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 46:19 K:BB in 11 starts and tentatively lines up to face the Cardinals next week.

Abbott (5-6) took the loss against Milwaukee on Saturday, allowing three runs on four hits and three walks while striking out three batters over five innings.

Abbott navigated around a stream of baserunners to keep the Brewers off the scoreboard for four frames, but he put himself in quick danger by walking the first two batters in the fifth. That came back to hurt him in a big way when Joey Ortiz hit a changeup for a three-run homer, accounting for all the runs Abbott surrendered in the outing. It was the southpaw's second straight start of five frames after he went at least six innings in four consecutive outings between May 15 and June 3. Abbott has fared reasonably well this season with a 3.42 ERA and 1.20 WHIP, though his 60:25 K:B over 79 frames doesn't help his fantasy stock.

Sandoval did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Giants, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with five strikeouts over five innings.

Sandoval surrendered a two-run home run to Heliot Ramos in a 31-pitch first inning then allowed a run on a double by Ramos in the fifth. Sandoval left the game after five frames with a 3-1 deficit before Logan O'Hoppe tied the game on a homer in the sixth. Sandoval has alternated good starts with bad starts throughout most of the season and now owns a 5.24 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 80:33 K:BB in 15 outings. He tentatively lines up to face the Dodgers next week.

Yamamoto was pulled from Saturday's start against the Royals with triceps tightness. He allowed one hit and one walk with one strikeout across two scoreless innings before being removed.

Yamamoto was initially scheduled to start Thursday but had the outing pushed back for rest purposes, though after Saturday's abbreviated outing it seems possible the rookie was dealing with some sort of issue. Yamamoto saw his fastball velocity dip to as low as 92.9 mph before being removed, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports. Michael Grove will take over on the mound for the Dodgers. Yamamoto was scheduled to make his next start Friday at home against the Angels, though Saturday's injury puts that in doubt.

Rogers (1-8) took the loss to the Nationals on Saturday, allowing two runs on six hits and no walks with three strikeouts over seven innings.

Rogers allowed runs on a sacrifice fly by Joey Meneses in the first inning and a solo homer run by Lane Thomas in the third. Rogers logged his longest outing of the season but was outdueled by rookie DJ Herz, who posted six scoreless innings with 13 strikeouts. Rogers had walked four batters in back-to-back contests, so his command Saturday was certainly a positive. He now owns a 5.09 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 55:31 K:BB on the season and tentatively lines up to face the Mariners next week.
