Strider (elbow) will make another rehab start for Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.

Strider has dominated in his two minor-league rehab outings so far, fanning 14 batters while allowing just one earned run on two hits and three walks over 8.1 innings. The right-hander worked up to 74 pitches in his most recent appearance Friday as he closes in on a return to the majors following last April's right elbow surgery. If his rehab assignment continues to go smoothly, Strider could join Atlanta's rotation around the middle of April.

Dana allowed two runs on four hits and one walk while striking out two batters over three innings in Friday's loss to Cleveland.

Dana was recalled from Triple-A Salt Lake ahead of Friday's contest and ended up logging a sizeable workload of 56 pitches (34 strikes). The right-hander gave up a pair of runs, one of which came on Jose Ramirez's third homer of the game. Dana's call-up came as a result of Ryan Johnson landing on the paternity list, so the former's stay on the big-league roster may not last long.

Strider (elbow) fired 5.1 scoreless, no-hit innings for Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday. He walked two and struck out eight.

The right-hander built up to 74 pitches, and per Thomas Harrigan of MLB.com, Strider topped out at 97.7 mph with his fastball. Atlanta isn't going to rush through the end of his rehab from an internal brace procedure performed last April, but Strider is closing in on his return to the big-league rotation. If he stays on schedule and makes two more rehab outings, it would put him on track for his 2025 debut April 19, at home against the Twins.

Schmidt (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment at Double-A Somerset on Saturday.

Schmidt has built up to 46 pitches while pitching in simulated games, and he'll likely require a couple of starts in the minor leagues to get up to a proper starter's workload. Barring any setbacks, he remains on track to return in mid-April.

Martinez (0-2) took the loss Friday, giving up three runs on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings as the Reds fell 3-2 to the Brewers. He struck out two.

While the right-hander's final line didn't look too bad, Martinez couldn't seem to put the ball quite where he wanted. He needed 92 pitches (51 strikes) to record his 14 outs, and when he did get the ball over the plate it tended to be right down the middle -- a tendency he paid for in the fifth inning, when light-hitting Brice Turang crushed a cutter 418 feet to right-center field. Martinez will carry a 5.91 ERA and 7:3 K:BB through 10.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in San Francisco.

Mahle (1-0) picked up the win Friday in a 5-2 victory over the Rays, allowing one hit and two walks over five scoreless innings. He struck out five.

The win was Mahle's first in two years, as his last one came as a member of the Twins on April 3, 2023 -- less than a month before he was shut down ahead of Tommy John surgery. The right-hander made only eight starts combined the last two seasons, but he looks healthy to begin 2025 as he attempts to reclaim some of the promise he showed with the Reds earlier in his career. Mahle will take a 1.35 ERA and 8:6 K:BB through 6.2 innings into his next start, which is scheduled to come on the road next week against the Cubs.

Littell (0-2) took the loss Friday as the Rays were downed 5-2 by the Rangers, coughing up five runs on six hits and two walks over seven innings. He struck out three.

Most of the damage came in the third inning, when Texas reeled off five straight hits before Littell could record an out. The right-hander has given Tampa Bay some length to begin the year, and through his first two starts he sports a 4.15 ERA and 10:2 K:BB in 13 innings. He'll look to get into the win column in his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the Angels.

Lugo (1-0) picked up the win Friday, allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and a walk over six innings in an 8-2 victory over the Orioles. He struck out two.

The veteran righty tossed 59 of 85 pitches for strikes in his first quality start of the season, but Lugo relied heavily on generating weak contact and managed only two swinging strikes on the night. He sports a 3.27 ERA and 6:4 K:BB through his first 11 innings of 2025, and Lugo will look to build on this performance in his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Twins.

Kremer (1-1) took the loss Friday as the Orioles fell 8-2 to the Royals, giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits over 4.1 innings. He struck out one without walking a batter.

The right-hander didn't allow a lot of hard contact -- the only extra-base hit off Kremer was a Salvador Perez double in the first inning -- but his pitch count ran up to 88 (63 strikes) before he was lifted, and he was far from dominant with only five swinging strikes. Kremer will carry a 6.52 ERA and 7:2 K:BB through 9.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Arizona.

Feltner didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Athletics, giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits and a walk while striking out four batters over five-plus innings.

Although the A's put a considerable numbers of runners on base against Feltner, the 28-year-old's only blemishes came on a first-inning RBI single from Tyler Soderstrom and a Jacob Wilson solo homer in the fourth. Feltner came out to start the sixth inning but was chased before recording an out after giving up a single followed by a double and a throwing error, which put the Athletics ahead 3-2. He remains in search of his first win of the season, and he'll have to wait until Milwaukee comes to town next week for his next opportunity.
