Quintana (4-1) took the loss Saturday against the Cubs after allowing six runs on seven hits and one walk over five innings. He struck out six.

Quintana gave up a run on two singles and a walk during the opening frame, but it was the long ball that hurt him the rest of the day as Chicago clubbed three homers across the fourth and fifth innings. The veteran left-hander allowed just three runs while winning his first four starts with the Brewers, but the Cubs' league-leading offense (208 runs scored) got to him Saturday. Quintana will carry a 2.83 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 21:9 K:BB across 28.2 innings into a matchup with the Rays next weekend.

Taillon (2-1) earned the win Saturday in Milwaukee after giving up two runs on three hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

The veteran right-hander wasn't exactly dominant as he induced just four swinging strikes, but he delivered his second straight quality start to help secure his first victory since April 2. Taillon surrendered six earned runs during his season debut in Arizona, but he's posted a 2.80 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB in 35.1 innings across his past six outings.

Sugano (3-2) allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out four batters over six innings in a loss to Kansas City on Saturday.

Sugano was mostly effective Saturday and notched his third quality start over his past four outings, but Baltimore's offense was unable to give him any support. After coming out of nowhere with 17 swinging strikes and eight punchouts against the Yankees in his previous appearance, the righty returned closer to his norm with six whiffs and four strikeouts against the Royals, but he nonetheless extended his career-opening streak of allowing three or fewer runs to seven games. Sugano's mediocre strikeout numbers dent his fantasy upside, but he's put up strong ratios with a 3.00 ERA and 1.13 WHIP through 39 innings on the season.

Meyer allowed five runs on 10 hits and two walks across five innings during Saturday's win against the A's. He did not strike out a batter.

The right-hander posted a 12.4 K/9 across his first six starts of 2025, but he generated just five whiffs Saturday as he failed to record a strikeout for the first time through 19 big-league starts. Meyer delivered four quality starts with a 2.10 ERA and 41:7 K:BB in his first five outings of the season, but he's surrendered 10 earned runs with a 6:6 K:BB in his past two turns through the rotation. A matchup with the White Sox next weekend should be a prime opportunity for the 26-year-old to get back on track.

Bido didn't factor in the decision Saturday in Miami after giving up four runs on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander gave up just a two-run homer to Kyle Stowers across the first four frames Saturday, but Miami rallied for two more runs in the fifth to end Bido's afternoon. The 30-year-old has covered at least five frames in all six of his starts this season, but he's now surrendered seven homers in his past four outings after keeping the ball in the yard across his first three starts. A home matchup with the Yankees next weekend is unlikely to solve his issues with the long ball.

Bubic (3-2) earned the victory over Baltimore on Saturday, allowing four hits and issuing one walk while striking out three batters over five scoreless innings.

Under normal circumstances, Bubic would have probably been allowed to go deeper -- he was pulled after throwing just 72 pitches through five innings -- but a rain delay after the first frame likely impacted his early exit. Nonetheless, the southpaw bounced back well from his worst start of the season, as he allowed four runs over five innings against Houston in his previous outing. Bubic has been a revelation for the Royals and for fantasy managers in the early part of the season -- he holds a 1.98 ERA (seventh-best among qualified pitchers) and 1.12 WHIP along with a 40:13 K:BB through 41 innings. He's lined up for a favorable matchup against the White Sox in his next start.

Corbin allowed one run on five hits and two walks while striking out two batters over 5.2 innings in a no-decision against Seattle on Saturday.

Corbin served up a leadoff homer to J.P. Crawford in the first inning, but the Mariners were unable to score on him after that. The veteran lefty fell one out shy of his first quality start of the season, though he did extend his streak of giving up two or fewer runs to four outings. Corbin hasn't completed six frames in a start yet, but he's enjoying a bit of a career revival in Texas so far, posting a 3.28 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 17:8 K:BB over 24.2 innings spanning five starts.

Dobbins (2-1) came away with the loss against the Twins on Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out two over 5.2 innings.

Dobbins started out strongly by retiring nine of the first 10 batters he faced and yielded just one run through five innings. Things unraveled for the 25-year-old right-hander in the sixth frame, when he gave up a two-run homer to Kody Clemens and was tagged for another run after being lifted. It was Dobbins' first loss in three starts, but he has a respectable 3.78 ERA and 1.32 WHIP across 16.2 innings this season and will be a part of the Red Sox's rotation in the short term after Walker Buehler (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day injured list Friday. Dobbins is lined up to face the Royals on the road next weekend.

Castillo pitched six innings in a no-decision against Texas on Saturday, allowing one run on four hits and two walks while striking out two batters.

Though he induced just two whiffs and fanned a season-low two batters, Castillo was sharp against the Rangers, as he didn't allow any extra-base hits and threw 58 of 88 pitches for strikes. Since allowing nine runs over 9.1 innings in a two-start span in mid-April, the veteran hurler has bounced back with two straight quality starts during which he has yielded just one run over 12 frames. The excellent pair of outings has brought Castillo's ERA back down to 3.29, though his 30:16 K:BB over 38.1 innings is mediocre.

Ober (4-1) earned the win against the Red Sox on Saturday, allowing one run on seven hits and one walk while striking out six over six innings.

Ober generated a whopping 18 whiffs while tossing 94 pitches (62 strikes), with his only blemish coming in the third inning on an RBI single from Rafael Devers. Ober has logged five quality starts in a row and has a 3.72 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 31:8 K:BB across 38.2 innings this season. He's in line to face the Giants at home next weekend.
