Mikolas (3-5) allowed three runs on six hits and three walks over six innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Brewers.

It looked like Mikolas would be chased early after Milwaukee plated three runs in the first inning. Instead, he settled in for a quality start and allowed only one Brewer to reach scoring position over the next five frames. He now has four quality starts through nine outings this season, with two coming in his last three appearances. Mikolas forced just four whiffs Sunday and hasn't reached double digits in any start this year. He'll carry a 6.19 ERA into his next outing, which is lined up to be at home against Boston.

Darvish (3-1) earned the win over the Dodgers on Sunday after firing seven shutout innings and allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out seven.

Darvish extended his scoreless innings streak to 17 innings in another dominant outing since returning from the injured list April 30. He retired the first 14 hitters he faced in order until walking Andy Pages with two outs in the fifth. Darvish generated an excellent 19 whiffs and tied his season high with seven strikeouts. The 37-year-old owns a 2.43 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 37:12 K:BB in 40.2 innings and lines up for another tough task against Atlanta his next time out.

Falter didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Cubs, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out one.

Falter generated his third quality start of the campaign; however, he tied his season low in strikeouts and surrendered a homer for a fifth consecutive start. The long ball was a first-inning, two-run home run by Christopher Morel. During his last five starts, Falter owns a 4.13 ERA with 21 strikeouts across 28.1 innings. He's scheduled to make his next start during a four-game road series with the Cubs next week.

Buehler (0-1) took the loss Sunday against the Padres, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two in 3.1 innings.

The majority of the damage against Buehler came in the opening frame when Fernando Tatis and Jake Cronenworth smoked back-to-back solo home runs. Buehler would later exit with the bases loaded and one out in the fourth and was charged with an additional run. He struggled with his command in another abbreviated start, throwing 45 of 77 pitches for strikes, and generated only five whiffs. Buehler will carry a 7.36 ERA, 1.77 WHIP and 6:2 K:BB over 7.1 innings into a meeting with the Reds.

Gallen (5-2) picked up the win Sunday against Baltimore, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out four.

Gallen notched a second straight quality start, following up a one-hit gem against the Reds with Sunday's two-run showing against the O's. Three of the four hits against Gallen went for extra bases, as he allowed doubles to Anthony Santander and Jordan Westburg while Adley Rutschman slugged a solo homer in the sixth. Gallen owns a 2.86 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP across 44.0 innings in 2024. He's lined up for a home start against the Tigers next weekend.

Montas allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out three over 4.2 innings in a no-decision versus the Giants on Sunday.

Montas was cruising until the Giants built up a five-run rally in the fifth inning. The right-hander has made seven starts this year, and in the six during which he has been able to avoid injury, he's allowed two or fewer runs three times while giving up five runs in each of the other three. That averages out to a pedestrian 4.20 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB across 30 innings overall. Montas is projected for a difficult road start versus the Dodgers in his next outing.

Harrison allowed three runs on three hits and five walks while striking out five over five innings in a no-decision versus the Reds on Sunday.

Walks have become an issue for Harrison in May -- he's issued 12 of them over 17 innings across his last three starts while adding 14 strikeouts in that span. The Reds weren't fully able to capitalize Sunday, scraping together three runs in the first inning but leaving four runners on base over the next four frames before finding more luck against the Giants' bullpen. Harrison has allowed just four runs over his last 23 innings and now has a 3.42 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 45:17 K:BB through 50 innings across nine starts this season. He's projected to make his next start at home versus the Rockies.

Gore (2-4) took the loss Sunday against Boston, allowing three runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out nine.

After being chased in three innings by the Blue Jays in his last start, Gore went six deep for the second time this season and notched a quality start. Each of the three runs scored by Boston came in the second as part of a two-hit, one-error frame. One of the runs came on a wild pitch by Gore, with Jarren Duran stealing home. Gore has fanned at least seven hitters in three of his last six starts and has 51 punchouts across 40.0 innings this season. Gore's tentatively scheduled for a start against the Phillies on Saturday.

Wheeler pitched four innings, allowing six runs on six hits and three walks while striking out two batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins. He did not factor into the decision.

Wheeler didn't have his best stuff Sunday, matching a season-high six hits given up while the two strikeouts were a season low. Most notably, the right-hander gave up a three-run homer to Josh Bell in the bottom of the third inning, which was only the fourth long ball surrendered by Wheeler in 2024. The 33-year-old still owns an impressive 2.53 ERA and 0.99 WHIP with 65 strikeouts over 53.1 innings in nine starts this season, and his next projected outing is set to come Friday at home versus the Nationals.

Garrett pitched 5.1 innings, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight batters in Sunday's 7-6 extra-inning win over the Phillies. He didn't factor into the decision.

Garrett got off to a slow start in his season debut, giving up three runs in the top of the first inning on a homer by Nick Castellanos. He then tossed four scoreless frames before two more runs came around to score while he secured just one out in the top of the sixth frame. The left-hander did impress in the strikeout department though, punching out at least eight batters for the first time since June 22 of the 2023 campaign versus the Pirates. Garrett will look to produce a more well-rounded performance in his next start, which is tentatively set for Saturday at home versus the Mets.
