Ross Stripling SP | KC
Dodgers' Ross Stripling: Expects to return Tuesday
Stripling (back) expects to return Tuesday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Stripling faced live hitting Saturday and reportedly felt good after the session. Provided he still feels good the day after, he should have little trouble hitting his Tuesday target. He'll be in a bullpen role when he returns to Los Angeles.

Michael Wacha SP | KC
Cardinals' Michael Wacha: To make next rehab start Tuesday
Wacha (oblique) will throw a bullpen session at Coors Field prior to Sunday's game and then head out for a Tuesday rehab start at Double-A Springfield, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
The right-hander looked much steadier in his Thursday appearance for High-A Charlotte than he had in his first rehab start five days prior. Wacha is slated to work up to 75 pitches at Springfield on Tuesday, a significant bump up from the 49 he threw Thursday. Interim manager Mike Shildt indicated Friday that Wacha could be ready for a return if he tolerates the workload well, with the Cardinals skipper describing him as being "in the conversation" to resume pitching in early September.

Wade Miley SP | CIN
Brewers' Wade Miley: Avoids serious damage in no-decision
Miley didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings win over the Pirates, allowing two runs on 10 hits and a walk over five innings while striking out four.
The southpaw put runners into scoring position in every inning, but Miley's Houdini act only failed him in the second frame and he was in line for his third win of the year before Jeremy Jeffress blew the save. Miley now sports a 2.32 ERA through 10 starts with Milwaukee, but his 1.31 WHIP and 33:21 K:BB in 50.1 innings suggest his luck could run out at any time. He'll next take the mound Thursday in Cincinnati.

Joe Musgrove SP | SD
Pirates' Joe Musgrove: Early exit in no-decision against Brewers
Musgrove didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 7-6 extra-innings loss to the Brewers, giving up four runs on six hits over four innings while striking out four.
Milwaukee did all their damage against the right-hander in the first inning, as he yielded two-run homers to Christian Yelich and Mike Moustakas, but despite his recovery over the next three frames, Musgrove still got the early hook after only 61 pitches (42 strikes) when Pittsburgh needed a pinch hitter with two outs and the bases loaded in the top of the fifth. It was his shortest outing since June 23, so expect Musgrove to provide a little more length when he next takes the mound Thursday in St. Louis.

Miles Mikolas RP | WAS
Cardinals' Miles Mikolas: Allows 12 hits in no-decision
Mikolas allowed five runs (four earned) on 12 hits in 4.2 innings Friday against the Rockies, recording three strikeouts and no walks in a no-decision.
Mikolas gave up a season high in hits and needed 87 pitches (57 strikes) to get through 4.2 innings. Despite the lukewarm outing, Mikolas still has an excellent 2.94 ERA to go along with a 1.09 WHIP. The 30-year-old has gone 10 straight starts without taking a loss and is tied for fourth in the NL in wins. His next start will be at home against the Pirates.

Antonio Senzatela RP | MIL
Rockies' Antonio Senzatela: Allows seven runs in loss
Senzatela (4-4) allowed seven runs on 10 hits in a loss to the Cardinals on Friday, striking out four and walking one in 4.1 innings.
It was his shortest outing in seven starts this year, and he allowed six extra-base hits, including two home runs. Senzatela had not given up more than two runs in his previous three starts. The young righty has a 5.24 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and a 42:20 K:BB in 56.2 innings this season. His next start will be in San Diego.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Dodgers' Rich Hill: Cruises to win against Padres
Hill (6-4) got the win against the Padres on Friday, yielding just two hits over six scoreless innings while striking out eight and walking one in an 11-1 victory for the Dodgers.
Hill breezed to his sixth win of the season thanks to a lockdown effort against the weak-hitting Padres and an explosive day for his lineup. The left-hander now has a solid 3.50 ERA, a 1.22 WHIP and 106 strikeouts through 97.2 innings this season.

Adam Wainwright SP | STL
Cardinals' Adam Wainwright: Slated for another rehab start
Wainwright (elbow) will start Sunday for Triple-A Memphis, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.
Wainwright tossed three scoreless innings on 44 pitches during his latest rehab outing, and he'll attempt to make it through four innings in his next minor-league start. The Cardinals are hoping to stretch him out for a return to the rotation, although a bullpen role isn't out of the question. Wainwright appears primed for a return from the disabled list after rosters expand Sept. 1.

Stephen Strasburg SP | WAS
Nationals' Stephen Strasburg: Not in jeopardy of missing start
Strasburg threw a 40-pitch bullpen session Friday and will make his next start in the Nationals' rotation, which is expected to come Monday against Philadelphia, Jorge Castillo of The Washington Post reports.
Strasburg's velocity took a noticeable dip during his final inning of Wednesday's start versus Philadelphia -- his first since coming off the DL due to a neck issue -- but it doesn't appear as though he or manager Dave Martinez are all too concerned. The right-hander said he felt typical soreness following the session, but added that overall everything felt good. Strasburg will look to improve upon his previous start, during which he allowed five runs and struck out five across four innings.

Zach Davies SP | WAS
Brewers' Zach Davies: Expected to rejoin rotation in Sept.
General manager David Stearns said Friday that he expects Davies to rejoin the Brewers' starting rotation at some point in September, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Stearns added that the club is considering planning certain "match-ups" for their staff instead of utilizing a typical rotation, per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com. For the time being, Davies will hand around Low-A Wisconsin after being activated from the DL and optioned to the minors Thursday. Look for him to make a start for the Timber Rattlers in the coming days after tossing six innings at Double-A Biloxi on Wednesday.
