  • Phillies' Connor Seabold: Part of 60-player group

Seabold will be a part of the Phillies' 60-man player pool this season.

Seabold would probably be at least another season away from pushing for his big-league debut under ordinary circumstances, though he could be called upon at some point during the upcoming 60-game campaign. He recorded a strong 2.25 ERA at Double-A Reading last season, though that came in just seven starts.

  • Hunter Greene SP | CIN

Reds' Hunter Greene: Not on 60-man player pool

Greene (elbow) was not named to the Reds' 60-man player pool, but it's possible the Reds could still add him, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

An earlier report suggested that the Reds' roster would be heavily weighted in favor of players who could help the team in the short term, and general manager Nick Krall's comment reinforces that notion. "Hunter's coming back from Tommy John. He's pretty much finished his rehab, building up," Krall said. "He's a guy we're trying to figure out how to maximize this year for him. We want to continue to progress him forward. He wasn't a consideration now, but we have three spots open and you can always add people at a later date if and when someone's ready to be put on the (60-man) roster."

  • Ian Anderson RP | ATL

Braves' Ian Anderson: Makes 60-man roster

Anderson will be a part of the Braves' 60-man roster, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Anderson was promoted to Triple-A Gwinnett last season after a solid run with Double-A Mississippi, but he amassed a 6.57 ERA and 1.69 WHIP over five starts with the Triple-A club. He was able to turn things around in major-league spring training this season, posting a 1.59 ERA and 6:2 K:BB over 5.2 innings before play was suspended. If the 22-year-old can improve his command as part of the 60-man roster, it wouldn't be out of the question to see him make his major-league debut at some point in 2020.

  • Trevor Oaks SP | LAD

Giants' Trevor Oaks: Added to 60-man pool

Oaks made the Giants' 60-man roster.

He lost his spot on the 40-man roster this past offseason but will have a chance to offer bullpen depth in this condensed season. Oaks had a lost 2019 season due to a hip injury but has been adept at generating groundballs in the high levels of the minors in previous seasons.

  • Kyle Muller SP | ATH

Braves' Kyle Muller: Part of 60-man pool

Muller will be a part of the Braves' 60-man roster, Gabe Burns of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Muller had posted a 3.14 ERA and 147:74 K:BB over 140.2 innings during the past two seasons with Double-A Mississippi, and he was invited to major-league spring training this season. He didn't fare very well, allowing six earned runs off five hits over one inning before being reassigned to minor-league camp. The 22-year-old will be able to develop as part of the team's 60-man roster, but it's unlikely that he'll see significant playing time in the majors this season.

  • Artie Lewicki SP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Artie Lewicki: Joins 60-man roster

Lewicki will be a part of the Diamondbacks' 60-man summer camp.

Lewicki's 2018 season was cut short by a second Tommy John surgery, and he was later claimed off waivers by Arizona and outrighted off the 40-man a month afterwards. He's at least seen action in the majors, however, appearing in 13 games for Detroit in 2018 and posting a 4.89 ERA before injury shut down his season. He missed the entire 2019 campaign as a result.

  • Levi Kelly SP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Levi Kelly: Joins D-Backs for camp

Kelly will be a part of the Diamondbacks' 60-man summer camp.

Kelly, who is not on the 40-man roster, spent last season at Low-A, where he started 22 games and posted a 2.15 ERA with a 126:39 K:BB in 100.1 innings. The 21-year-old was included for developmental purposes and would only pitch in the majors in an emergency situation.

  • Brewers' Drew Rasmussen: Included on initial roster

Rasmussen will attend summer camp with the Brewers.

The Brewers optioned Rasmussen to the minors in early March, but he will get another shot to make the cut. Rasmussen's season will likely begin at the Brewers' alternate training site, but his inclusion among the team's initial 45-man roster suggests he could make his major-league debut in 2020 even if he does not break camp with the big club.

  • Marlins' Braxton Garrett: In 60-man player pool

Garrett is part of the Marlins' 60-man player pool, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.

Under normal circumstances, Garrett would have spent the 2020 season at Double-A and Triple-A. He has a strong three-pitch mix and logged a 52.7 percent groundball rate at High-A last year. Garrett is behind Sixto Sanchez and Edward Cabrera in the pecking order for MLB opportunities in 2020, but he could conceivably provide innings at the big-league level in a pinch.

  • Johan Oviedo SP | BOS

Cardinals' Johan Oviedo: Snags spot on player pool

Oviedo is part of the player pool that will join the Cardinals for summer camp beginning July 1, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

The hard-throwing righty is one of the particularly intriguing inclusions in the 44-man group that will begin working at Busch Stadium on Wednesday. Oviedo raised expectations to an extent during Grapefruit League play by posting a solid 3.18 ERA and compiling seven strikeouts over 5.2 innings across four appearances. The 22-year-old right-hander may still be much likelier to be part of a non-active roster of up to 30 players that will train off-site once the regular season begins, however, considering he struggled to the tune of a 5.65 ERA and 1.63 WHIP over 113 innings across 23 starts at Double-A Springfield in 2019.
