The Phillies recalled Falter from their alternate site Tuesday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Philadelphia will exchange one left-handed reliever for another, as Falter replaces Cristopher Sanchez, who was optioned to the alternate site following Monday's 2-0 loss to the Giants. Expect Falter to work mostly in low-leverage spots for the duration of his stay with the big club.

The Phillies optioned Sanchez to their alternate training site Tuesday, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Sanchez will leave Philadelphia without making an appearance, as he went unused out of the bullpen in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Giants following his call-up earlier that day. Left-hander Bailey Falter will take Sanchez's spot in the bullpen and on the 26-man active roster.

Webb was activated from the COVID-19 injured list ahead of his scheduled start Tuesday against the Phillies.

Webb spent the last two days on the COVID-19 injured list while recovering from the side effects of the coronavirus vaccine. He's now ready to make his third start of the season, having posted a 4.76 ERA and 1.76 WHIP across two starts and one relief appearance.

May (1-1) allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits and a walk while striking out eight over five innings in Monday's loss to the Mariners.

May struggled out of the gate, as he threw over 20 pitches and allowed homers in each of his first two innings, putting the Dodgers in an early 3-0 hole. He settled down for a 1-2-3 third and should've been able to say the same for the fourth, but Chris Taylor prolonged the inning by botching a groundball at second, and the runner came around to score on a subsequent RBI double down the right-field line by Taylor Trammell. May did have his offspeed pitch working, however, as all eight of his strikeouts came via the curveball. His ERA shot up to 2.93 after this outing, but he improved his K:BB to 22:4 and will look to get back into the win column against the Padres on Sunday.

Woodruff (1-0) allowed one run on one hit and three walks while striking out seven over six innings to earn the win against the Padres on Monday.

Woodruff had a rocky opening frame, as he tossed 28 pitches while allowing his only hit and run of the night. However, he was nearly untouchable thereafter and exited after retiring seven straight hitters following a fourth-inning walk to Wil Myers. It was only a matter of time before Woodruff picked up his first win of the season, as the 28-year-old now owns a 1.96 ERA and 26:6 K:BB through 23 innings pitched. He's in line to face the Cubs for the third time this season at Wrigley Field on Sunday; across the first two, he allowed one run on four hits over 13 innings.

Musgrove (2-2) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out 13 hitters over seven innings Monday against the Brewers, though he was stuck with the loss.

The Padres' bats handed Musgrove an early 1-0 lead, but they went silent for the rest of the game, spoiling a magnificent outing from the right-hander. Musgrove registered a career-high 13 strikeouts but allowed a pair of solo home runs, which was enough to hand the 28-year-old his second straight loss. Musgrove is still off to a scorching start to the year, as he'll take a 1.04 ERA and 37:3 K:BB into his next scheduled start against the Dodgers on Sunday.

Anderson (0-2) took the loss Monday in Monday's 2-0 defeat at the hands of the Giants, allowing two runs on five hits and no walks over four innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander exited after throwing 70 pitches (47 strikes), but there was only one offering Anderson would like to have back -- a third-inning curveball he left over the plate that Brandon Belt deposited in the seats in right field for the game's only offense. Anderson has a 4.15 ERA and 11:5 K:BB through 13 innings, but he'll be a very risky fantasy option in his next outing, slated for Sunday against the Rockies in Coors Field.

Gausman (1-0) picked up the win Monday in a 2-0 victory over the Phillies, allowing six hits and four walks over six scoreless innings while striking out five.

The right-hander created plenty of traffic on the basepaths but buckled down when it counted, stranding runners in scoring position in every inning except the second. Gausman tossed 108 pitches (68 strikes) en route to his third quality start of the season, and he'll take a 2.45 ERA and 23:9 K:BB through 25.2 innings into his next outing, Saturday at home against the Marlins.

Flaherty (3-0) picked up the win Monday, allowing five runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks over six innings in a 12-5 victory over the Nationals. He struck out five.

The Cards did almost all their scoring by the fifth inning, giving the right-hander a massive cushion to work with, and while he faded in the sixth and saw his pitch count creep up to 107 (63 strikes), a Nolan Arenado error kept Flaherty's quality start alive. He'll take a 3.80 ERA and 21:8 K:BB through 21.1 innings into his next outing, at home against the Reds on Sunday.

Mikolas (shoulder) recently faced live hitters for the first time since late February, but he still projects for a late-May season debut at the earliest, Zachary Silver of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander has been limited to fastballs and changeups thus far in his throwing sessions for precautionary reasons, which underscores how much he still realistically has to go to be ready for game action. Manager Mike Shildt currently compares Mikolas to a pitcher who's just starting to ramp up for Grapefruit League starts in late February, and the veteran will look to next incorporate breaking balls into a batting practice session for the first time in his rehabilitation process.
